This was a terrible experience. . Ended up terminating contract. Lost $500 materials deposit. And he is claiming he "will see me in court" Price actually seemed reasonable. Then the issues began. Ryan would say he could be there at a certain time and would change it and arrive late or not at all. He and a helper finally showed up and did a fabulous job trimming my shrubs and bushes .He took my
$500 down payment for materials. We set a time to return and he called and changed twice and said he and his crew would be over at9 am to finish the job. He came by himself in a car, no bark mulch (estimated need 75 bags) that he said he would be hauling with his car. We saw no way that he would finish the job that day as promised. We had already tied up 4 or 5 days waiting for him. We told him we no longer needed his service. Requested partial refund on materials deposit since he had done a good job on the shrubs. I don't have any mulch and he refused to return rest of deposit. BEWARE

Thank you for your feedback. I take all concerns seriously and want to provide some clarification.
The $500 deposit was agreed upon and collected specifically to cover the cost of materials and to secure scheduling for your project. Time was also spent completing the shrub and bush trimming portion of the work, which you acknowledged was done well.
Regarding scheduling, there were a few necessary adjustments due to workload and logistics, which I communicated as promptly as possible. When I arrived to continue the job, I was prepared to proceed, but the project was canceled at that time.
As outlined in our agreement, deposits for materials and reserved labor time are non-refundable once work has begun and scheduling has been committed. That said, I always aim to be fair and reasonable, and I remain open to resolving concerns in a professional manner.
