I didn't come to Twin Waves because I was searching for network care. I came because my therapist of over a decade recommended it after my mom passed away. I trusted her completely-so I didn't research it, and I didn't have expectations. I just knew I was exhausted and grieving and something had to change
Before care, my nervous system lived in survival mode. I had frequent panic attacks, chronic shallow breathing, migraines, and constant tension in my shoulders and upper back. I didn't go anywhere without emergency medication. I was highly functional on the outside but inside, my body was always bracing.
I feel like care started with intake - I felt safe and so I shared with raw honesty which was helpful in itself. When I saw my scans and assessments, what struck me was recognition that my body wasn't broken. It was doing exactly what it had learned to do to survive decades of stress and trauma.
I want to be honest — when I began care, my body fought it. I was stuck in a groove of a story that I played over and over. My body and mind wasn’t ready for a new story… for a new possibility. I had panic attacks on the table and there were moments that I felt discouraged and wondered if I was the problem. But Drs. Kira and Suzanna never gave up on me. They understood my nervous system was learning something new, and they stayed with me through that transition with such compassion and confidence that I began to believe I could have a different story.
And then, gradually, my breath changed, the panic softened, and as my nervous system calmed, my life followed:
I ended a relationship that no longer fit, I made confident financial decisions, I retired earlier than I ever imagined, and I experienced a sense of ease I didn't know was possible.
When Drs. Kira and Suzanna asked me what I wanted most from treatment I said freedom: I didn't know what that would feel like—l'd never had it.
Today I do.
If you've never had your spine or nervous system checked, my recommendation is simple: give your body the chance to show you what life feels like without constant protection. You may discover more freedom than you thought was possible. I wish I had found the compassion and healing of Twin waves sooner—but I'm deeply grateful | found them when I did.

Twin Waves is a hidden gem in San Diego. If you have any pain--chronic or acute--or are looking for a healing modality that actually works, then look no further. The Twins have helped me heal chronic acne (after 11 years, all the dermatologist treatments and topicals, etc) in only 3 months of care. They also helped me correct my posture after 6 months (goodbye tech-neck), and so much more.
I can't tell you *exactly* how spinal network therapy works but I can tell you that every time I step into their office I am excited to be there, I find a deep level of peace, I feel energy moving throughout my spine/body like it's untangling old patterns, and I leave glowing.
They take a scientific approach to measuring your progress and it's remarkable to see the changes in the body (and life) after treatment with them. Their genuine care for their patients shows and they take the time to really get to know you. I can't say enough great things about Twin Waves. Thank you, Suzanna and Kira, for all that you do!

I started my journey with Twin Waves in November of 2024. I had recently left a high stress, fast paced corporate job of 17 years and had started my own business. I was working on unraveling old patterns and habits and regulating my nervous system after years of chronic stress. Network spinal was introduced to me by my coach to help regulate my nervous system and release pent up stress and trauma. Little did I know I’d be on a path to deep inner healing that has been the most liberating and challenging experience of my life. Throughout my time with Twin Waves, I’ve been able to release so much stress and trauma from my body that not only am I seeing the impact on my nervous system, but also my spinal alignment since I have scoliosis which has been an added bonus.
Dr. Kira and Dr. Suzanna have been a lifeline throughout my healing journey not only when I’m on the table in an entrainment session, but also as a resource and guide through the integration between sessions when “the work really happens”. They’ve built a beautiful practice and community that is a safe place for healing and being heard and seen as a whole person. This includes Kaitlyn and Mimi, who are so compassionate and supportive in every way. Twin Waves has not only become a place of healing my nervous system, but a home filled with love and compassion to support my healing journey.
