Called to set an appointment to have 8-10 valves changed. Tech showed up and said they can’t replace them without a whole home inspection. I schedule one and a huge quote follows with all kinds of issues. One quote specifically was bringing a 1 week old hot water tank up to code. Inspector came today and passed it, no issues. Now I’m wondering what else isn’t actually needed. Techs were knowledgeable but seem like their biggest goal is making big sales. Get multiple quotes.

We unfortunately did not have a great experience. We had them come out because we were experiencing water backing up in our laundry room and utility room so we thought we needed the main drain snaked. They did come out and snake the drain and were able to pull up some roots that were in the line, but it did not stop the water backing up, they then told us they believed a pipe under our house had collapsed and quoted us nearly $5,000 to tear up the floor in my sons bedroom (we live on a slab) and replace the pipe. We decided to get a second opinion and someone else came out and snaked the main line again and was able to get through a clog of more roots, and now nothing is backing up anymore. Everyone was very friendly but we felt like they just didn’t try hard enough to get through the clog in our drain and stressed us out by saying we would potentially need to do some major plumbing work. Always get a second opinion.
