Raul provided great service
Excellent speedy service as usual ... Their new 'Greatness' practice is, well, great!
Raul and the manager I believe his name is Freya they go above and beyond for the services. And they are so knowledgeable. Kudos Medford Valvoline
These gents in the Medford location are top notch in terms of service. Both Kevin and Milton were beyond professional and personable. No high-pressure sales and very knowledgeable.
All the staff members are very friendly, polite, and helpful. The service is always quick and efficient. I always come here and highly recommend this place!
Andrew was so wonderful. He replaced a back windshield wiper and a front filter plus the oil. Raul did the underside. Mitton did some work on all the cars in the bays. Freya, the manager, was so nice and kind just like Andrew. I was happy he was still there. This Valvoline is always busy but they take their time…
Very efficient and great service. Kevin was amazing. Great service.
great place, great staff, great service! Freya runs a great shop and this is by far the best Valvoline location I’ve been to!
Friendly and professional
Staff is great. Service is quick and this is helpful because I’m busy. Cost is unreasonable. Can go to a full service garage for the same cost and will get more general diagnostic and professional assessment of my vehicle.
Raul and his team did an outstanding job on my car today. They were patient, knowledgeable, and provided quick service! This is why I continue to visit this location to have my car serviced.
Great bunch of guys that work on the Salem St Medford location!.. always help me out. Very professional
Great service & manager incredibly professional, friendly!
It was a great visit. The team is very kind and knowledgeable, walking me through all of my potential options. The mechanic was clear in sharing what work was done and not pushy on trying to add additional services. The Medford team has been great and kept me coming back!

Kevin, Draya, Fred and Jameson were amazing. So helpful, friendly and quick. They are a group that works very well together.
Kevin and his team were kind and efficient — I’ll never go anywhere else for an oil change.
I #$*@-ing LOVE this place! Even if there are several vehicles waiting (which is rare)- they do their best to get vehicles serviced in the order they arrive...first come, first serve. And it's usually no more than a 10-15 minute wait MAX. Service is fast and efficient. Staff is friendly & professional. It is a big…
Valvoline on Salem St Medford MA is excellent.. The manager Freya and his team are top notch and do not pressure customers for up selling.. Very good customer service . The only Valvoline I come to! These fellas always take care of me and are always SO kind and so professional while they do it :)
I always have a great experience at this location. Kevin is very personable and made my last visit great. I will continue to come back here for all my future needs.
I’ve been coming to this Valvoline for about a year now. I work overnight and there’s never a line at 8 am when I’m coming off my shift. The service is quick, staff is super friendly, and they give you insight on maintenance without forcing you to take care of everything right there on the spot. Shout out to Kevin…
Kevin the manager at the Medford Salem Street location was amazing! He was so sweet and kind and didn’t pressure me to buy anything I didn’t need ! Will be back again!
Convenient, and better prices than dealer
Came in for an oil change and Kevin was amazing. Top notch service and what I had hoped as a tourist coming into town. We couldn’t wait to get home and stopped in. I highly recommend coming here and meeting these great guys!
The service and workers were quick, concise and informative I would go there again
Great service quick friendly and efficient
Kevin, the manager was very informative regarding my cars needed maintenance. I always appreciate being educated around car maintenance needs. I learned that differential fluid is also called rear axel fluid. The team worked efficiently and insert all my questions
Kevin was nice, respectful and fast!
I’ve been going here for oil change ever since I bought my first car. Fast and convenient, good people.
The only place I will go to maintain my car. I’ve been coming to this location for years and each visit is exceptional. Special thanks to Freya and Raul who are not only amazing at what they do, but genuinely wonderful people.
Always a quick oil change and they refill tires, wiper fluid, etc without question during the oil change Nice team and they aren't too pushy with add-on services
Great service!

They were so nice and quick!
Been using Valvoline for years! Kevin, Antonio and Raul were fabulous and do a great great job. Never had any issues leaving there and they always do a diligent job making sure everything looks good before I leave! Best place around!!
Original 5 Star review. Kevin was outstanding! He explained everything to me, gave me discounts where possible and was funny, engaging and personable throughout! Thanks, Kevin for the explanations and the conversation! Revision to 2 stars Kinda hate to have to add this, but, next day, friend and I driving for…
The gentlemen were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They took my concerns seriously and communicated clearly. My cabin air filter was embarrassingly filthy. The Technician put my at ease by sharing a story about his Mom having the same problem. They worked quickly and methodically on that very hot and humid day.
Always quick and efficient ! I appreciate the friendliness of the staff- great location!
Kevin and Jameson at the Medford Salem St location were great. In fact, I always get really good service here, which is why I always come back

My go to place for an oil change. They are always nice, quick and efficient at this location. The store manager is top notch and everyone is very knowledgable and honest about your vehicle’s needs.
Easy peasy! I'm one of those people who gets anxious about simple things like oil changes and feels embarrassed when I'm way overdue. The team here was so welcoming, friendly, and communicative that they made the whole experience completely stress-free. Everything was seamless from start to finish!
I’m a regular here and wanted to drop a review today because I got particularly good customer service. Raul was professional and informative on each part of the oil change and future recommendations without being pushy. Even in the high heat today, he was pleasant and energized.
RAUL, SHAWN, AND FREYA WERE AWESOME TODAY WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! QUICK, COMPLETE, AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE SERVICE.
The team at Salem St, Medford did a great job on my oil and transmission fluid changes. The service was quick and friendly!
Raul was fantastic. Great experience and appreciated the ease ahead of a road trip.
Super quick and super thorough!
Great experience, in and out quick!
The attendant was friendly and did a great job with my oil change.
Five star service! Oil change was quick and service is always excellent here. Interior filter cost $60. That is outrageous! I’ll give that 2.5 stars and average the total to 4. Will do on myself from now on.
I had a great service! The mechanics were all very nice and helpful. Will be back!

I’m always satisfied leaving Valvoline and my last visit was great! I went in for an oil change and asked if my transmission fluid could be checked. Isiah got me in and set up in no time, was knowledgeable about the services offered, and handed me off to Kevin for the remainder of the appointment. Kevin was also…

I don’t normally leave reviews but this place deserves it. Great service and communication, and they’re always transparent which I love. Car maintenance can be intimidating at times but this team makes you feel like you’re in good hands.

Great customer service! Thank you Freya and team
Had a great experience at Valvoline in Medford for an oil change and tire rotation. The staff was friendly, professional, and fast, and the customer service was excellent. They made the whole process quick and easy. Highly recommend!
Dennis was great!
Great customer service and very thorough.
$156 for an oil change on a BMW X2, approximately twice the cost of an independent mechanic but half the cost of the dealership. Took about an hour with the wait. Clean shop and nice staff.
Great value for a complete service conducted by professional staff.
Fast, friendly, and professional service. The oil change was quick and smooth, and the staff was very helpful. Definitely recommend Valvoline Instant Oil Change!
Fantastic job! Raul was very polite, knowledgeable, andexplained everything very well. Very fast services too. Highly recommend them and I will be going back there.
Great experience each time I've visited, no high pressure upsells (which is really important to me). The staff is polite and professional. Good value for the money.
Great service. Personable crew. I will definitely return
I was met with a greeting from the staff all which were very knowledgeable.,The manger Fraya was hands on and explained everything to me. The teamwork was excellent and the overall experience was amazing.
I went to Valvoline Medford MA. This was my 2rd time going there. I was happy to be served by Raul a very nice gentleman. He showed me how to get coupons and I was able to get a discount. Their service was excellent. I will always refer my friends and continue going there.Thank you.
Good service, Raul a very dedicated employee
Super quick & affordable! Manager was very friendly
Everyone is so friendly and the service is great.
Standard oil change, quick and easy
The team at the Medford Valvoline is always Great
My first visit to this location I was assisted by a lovely and professional person. Unfortunately, my experience during my second visit was the exact opposite. I was taken aback at the unprofessional behavior of the staff. To make it even worse, my attendant expressed some racist remarks that truly appalled me. Needless to say, they’ve lost my business.
Best Valvoline location ever ever management is excellent. The whole team works super hard to make sure the job gets done great team.
Went through lane 2 around 245pm today. Got me oil changed and was greeted with great customer service and professionalism by the team who serviced my truck. Appreciate you!
Not once, but TWICE in a row they only screwed 1 of 4 bolts back on skid plate cover. Left it hanging dragging on ground. I have seen MULTIPLE other reviews complaining about the same thing. These guys have ZERO clue what they are doing. Lazy and unprofessional. If they can’t even do something this simple I can only…
First-class treatment, quick service, friendly employees. I've saved a ton of money on additional services that would cost a lot more at the dealer (or another service center). I've been going to them for over 20 years and I have never had a negative experience (and that includes the Medford, Arlington, Lynn and Norwood locations).
Good friendly people
The fast, friendly, and efficient service made this a great experience.
The technician mistakenly (or perhaps knowingly) set the next oil change reminder for 3 months/3,000 miles, even though it’s always been set for 5,000 miles or 5 months—whichever comes first—for premium synthetic oil. When I pointed out the error, he said that next time I should tell the technician to set it however…
Great job Valvoline!!! I trust you and I will be coming back again just like I have the past 20 years!
Jeff don’t know how to communicate with people, you need to chill out.
did a great job, changed my oil, and oil filters. they was so polite and helpful.
So not sure if new management is the issue but I’ve gone to this location since I’ve had my car and have gone to the Somerville but was told today that they don’t service Dodge Darts. Not sure if it’s a policy change or incompetency on the manger or “boss” part but definitely won’t be going here even when I have a…
Best place for an oil change, they don’t try to sell you on anything but they let me know my battery was dangerously low and swapped it out for me just in time. Super friendly and great customer service. Won’t go anywhere else for oil changes
This is the only location I visit to get my oil changed. Fast, friendly service and no up-selling.
Salem Street Valvoline is the perfect place to bring your car when you want professional and peace of mind they are orderly knowledgeable and on point I recommend this to everybody so I hope these guys are here for a very long time😊
I drive out of my way to come to this specific location. They are consistently efficient, provide great service and aren’t pushy with the add on services.
Slow slow slow. 15 minute oil change by a$$. Twice I have been here twice I have been behind the vehicle in the bay and twice I have waited an hour. Faster to do it in my yard. This is the last time I am using this service.
Freya was very helpful!! The service was quick and efficient. Will recommend going here for oil change.
This location had me in and out in a flash. Freya was very knowledgeable and explained to me exactly what was being done and why and I left with a better understanding of my vehicle. This location gained a life-long customer today and my car is running better than ever!
They changed my oil, took the screws out of my splash guard and replaced them with ZIP TIES without telling me. My splash guard fell off in less than 48 hours because they lost my screws and got lazy and shady. NEVER go here unless you’re looking to get scammed. Update: called and spoke to the manager - all they…
Great service ...... But $90 for a synthetic oil change is a ridiculous amount to charge.
Clean, professional, friendly, and efficient oil change. 100% mask wearing compliance by staff. Will return!
I don't like how they try to get you to do a transmission fluid flush even if you don't really need it. It's a $177 service and wasn't necessary. Besides that, they were professional and efficient.
I just had my SantaFe serviced at this location. Shannon was wonderful!!!! The rest of the team was truly great. They made me feel as if I was the most important customer they had today. Still smiling
