Velvet Green Organic Lawn Care

Jaime did a great job. Walkways were very clean after he finished and he ensured grass seeds didn’t get in beds. Aeration was fine well. 3 weeks later lawn looks great.

Very personable and shared lots of valuable information

I love this company. Jamie did a wonderful and thorough job, the team got the heavy aeration machine up my many stairs.

Very pleasant gentlemen, efficient workers.

Fall aeration and overseeding completed and the team did a great job addressing some seriously compacted soil.

Easy to book, fast service, job well done

Velvet Green provided Fall fertilization, aeration, overseeing and compost dressing to my sad, sad lawn. Communication around what to expect each service day was crystal clear, as were the follow-up communications. The compost dressing was sprayed on which is messy, but they cleaned up the walkways really well. I’m… Read full review

Pablo and his team were very thorough and did a great job aerating and over seeding.

Pablo and his crew did a great job.

I thought the team at my house today did a good job today. Everything that was done was gone over by Jamie and another worker. I feel they were attentive and made sure the work was done completely and correctly

Jamie was nice and easy to work with. I showed him where our arrogation system was located throughout the yard so they wouldn’t hit it when they aerated the lawn. He also moved our big trampoline to do underneath it and moved it back. He did the lawn quickly and efficiently.

Great work by Pablo!

I would highly recommend Velvet Green. This is my third time using there services. Both men were very easy to work with. Great job!

Seamless experience with Velvet Green and their team in scheduling and having my lawn aerated and over seeded. Pablo made sure to cover every part of the lawn and even walked the lawn after to make sure each bare spot was properly seeded and raked over. Highly recommend using Velvet Green for all your lawn services.

Team of two one doing the front the other out back. Fast and efficient work.

I was a customer for 8 years and sadly had to cancel this year as my lawn has degraded substantially. I used to have a thick lush lawn which I give velvet green credit for but service and my lawn has degraded last few years. Despite overseeding and aeration in spring my lawn is thin with bare spots and getting… Read full review

Jamie and his crew were very professional and I appreciate their hard work.

Initial work, so far very professional. I received an email beforehand stating when they would show up, with instructions on what to do. Two teams came, did their job, and left. Now I water the grass and wait for the magic to happen.

Velvet green has been great to work with! They are very thorough and make sure you are getting the best treatment for your specific grass. They take their time for each application and clean up our walkways and patio when they’re done.

Great job form velvet green. I just became a customer and am impressed with their service, approach and protectiveness

Jamie is very courteous and conscientious in doing on site work

This is my first year, came highly recommended very happy so far

Jaime and his partner did a great job overseeing the lawn, and had me walk around with him beforehand to make sure he was aware of any special concerns. They were courteous, efficient and neat.

Pablo and his assistant were efficient and effective in executing our seasonal aeration and over-seeding.

They've done their first applications, and it already looks a 1000 times better great job.Thank you!

Before engaging Velvet Green, for years I maintained my lawn myself using off the shelf products from the big box stores and the lawn was always mediocre. When I engaged Velvet Green, they did a soil analysis of the lawn and considered it's needs in their recommended treatment plan. Now, the lawn is actually healthy and looks great!

Team was out to Aerate the lawn did a great job got yo all the nooks in the lawn Very professional lawn looks amazing definitely going to extend contract.

Always 1st Class service

Pablo was professional, went the extra mile to work around a sprinkler issue. Wonderful service

I am consistently impressed with Velvet Green and my lawn looks better year after year (which I didn’t think was possible)!

Patty always does a great job servicing our lawn. She's professional and clearly explains the services she's providing.

Our lawn looks great! Can’t wait to see results over the next few months. Jaime did an outstanding job.

My husband spoke with him, very polite and courteous and respectful to our property.

Jaime did an excellent job. Looking forward to another great lawn season

First time customer. Great communication with staff Enjoying the service so far!

Jeff and team are incredible. The best the lawn has ever looked. The care, products and customer service are the best in the business. Highly recommend the entire program especially bi annual aeration and overseed.

I have a tricky, old lawn that has deteriorated inexplicably over the last few years. I am a bit of a lawn junky and am a bit lucky that I can do my own lawn and landscaping using 8 summers of knowledge working in a greenhouse and nursery in my youth! I tried many approaches to "renew" my old lawn and bare spots but… Read full review

Nick was friendly and efficient!

Have been using their services for three seasons now and will continue to do so based on results and pricing. Very satisfied.

Great experience with the team at Velvet G

I've been working with Velvet Green for a few years now. They do an excellent job maintaining my lawn. The grass is thick, dark green, and mostly weed free. Using only organic materials gives me peace of mind. They're not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

2024 I wanted to update my review from last time. I have included a picture of the front lawn as well. This is my grass in July of 2024 even after the 2 weeks of 100 degree heat we had. I couldn't be happier with the results and I have recommended Velvet Green to everyone who has asked how I do it. ~2022 My lawn… Read full review

Evidence of aeration of my lawn and spreading of seed.

Jaime at Velvet Green came and aerated, seeded, and top dressed my lawn. They were very efficient and wasted no time getting their work completed and left the place looking great! I had recently purchased my own grass seed and they had no problem putting it down for me with absolutely no pressure for me to use their… Read full review

Thanks for the aeration, overseeing and top dressing service, the whole service is quick and professional. Especially thanks for Jaime giving very helpful suggestions for our lawn watering.

Great work

We have been serviced by Velvet Green for a few years now. The turn around in our lawn from a past of chemical after chemical, to an organic solution has been great. Our lawn is lush and tolerates the extremes of New England weather very well. We couldn’t be happier. Velvet Green’s results speak for themself, as… Read full review

Just had Jamie from Velvet Green aerate and overseed my lawn-boom, done! Super professional, in and out, and my lawn is going to look great. Highly recommend!

Great job! I’ve had other companies do this in the past and they were not as thorough. Highly recommend!!

Jaime was prompt and polite. He explained what they were going to do. One truck did the aeration a pond seeding, and a second truck was coming with the organic top dressing. They even used a leaf blower to clear those off my grass. Very satisfied with the job.

Working with Velvet Green was quick and hassle free.

Patty from Velvet Green is fantastic, a real professional

All spots well covered with soil and seed

Our grass is thriving after working with Velvet Green, it’s looking great! Will continue to work with them over the coming years for our lawn care needs!

Great service. Would use again.

Pablo was very thorough with the aeration & seeding of our yards!
