Velvet Green Organic Lawn Care

I was a customer for 8 years and sadly had to cancel this year as my lawn has degraded substantially. I used to have a thick lush lawn which I give velvet green credit for but service and my lawn has degraded last few years. Despite overseeding and aeration in spring my lawn is thin with bare spots and getting… Read full review

Patty did an excellent job and explained answers to questions in detail! She is excellent!

This is my first year, came highly recommended very happy so far

Patty took the time to explain the services we were getting and when we would need to water in the treatments. Plus she explained when we might add in other services down the road.

They've done their first applications, and it already looks a 1000 times better great job.Thank you!

Very pleasant and efficient. Helpful with information.

Before engaging Velvet Green, for years I maintained my lawn myself using off the shelf products from the big box stores and the lawn was always mediocre. When I engaged Velvet Green, they did a soil analysis of the lawn and considered it's needs in their recommended treatment plan. Now, the lawn is actually healthy and looks great!

Pablo did a wonderful job . . . He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable!

Very highly recommended. Friendly service as usual.

Great prices and company! All the workers are friendly and very professional. Highly recommend.

They do a great job and my grass is so much better and looking good. Love they don’t use toxic chemicals.

Looking forward to having the lawn look great this year!

I have a tricky, old lawn that has deteriorated inexplicably over the last few years. I am a bit of a lawn junky and am a bit lucky that I can do my own lawn and landscaping using 8 summers of knowledge working in a greenhouse and nursery in my youth! I tried many approaches to "renew" my old lawn and bare spots but… Read full review

Always good service.

Great service and good work by James!

Great experience: prompt, professional, and detailed.

Very thorough when applying

I've been working with Velvet Green for a few years now. They do an excellent job maintaining my lawn. The grass is thick, dark green, and mostly weed free. Using only organic materials gives me peace of mind. They're not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

I just happened to be home today and had the pleasure of meeting Nick.hrs a very good caretaker and makes sure i know what was applied and why it needed. No pesticides is what I want and Nick is making sure mt lawn looks great.

2024 I wanted to update my review from last time. I have included a picture of the front lawn as well. This is my grass in July of 2024 even after the 2 weeks of 100 degree heat we had. I couldn't be happier with the results and I have recommended Velvet Green to everyone who has asked how I do it. ~2022 My lawn… Read full review

We have been serviced by Velvet Green for a few years now. The turn around in our lawn from a past of chemical after chemical, to an organic solution has been great. Our lawn is lush and tolerates the extremes of New England weather very well. We couldn’t be happier. Velvet Green’s results speak for themself, as… Read full review

Patty always does a great job! Very helpful answering questions too

Consistantly great!

The team at Velvet Green has been great. I had a service in prior years with a different company but needed something safer for my dog and family and these folks were perfect. My lawn actually looks the best it ever has and is done safely, They are very responsive to any questions but still offer modern features… Read full review

Jeff’s Landscaping and Velvet Green provide great service and great value! If you want a beautiful yard, call Jeff and his team.

“Blades of Glory” This past winter I put an ice rink in our back yard. To level the yard I added 5 yards of loom to low spots and dug out some high spots. This did some extensive damage to our lawn that velvet green had previously worked so hard making look great the year before. But to no surprise, this spring… Read full review

My experiences with Velvet Green Lawn Care have always been professional. They have always been on time and delivered on what they promised. My lawn looks great. Thankful that I am a customer and would recommend them to anyone!

This is my first season with Velvet Green and I couldn't be more happy with them. They answer my calls and emails right away and care about their work. I recently had my lawn aerated/over-seeded and top dressed, the guys that came out were so professional, they made sure every inch of the grass was aerated and made… Read full review

This was my second season with these guys and I’m thrilled. I’ve worked with several similar companies spanning 15+ years, and I think/hope I’ve found a long-term solution. They combine a perfect blend of efficiency, high-end products, competitive pricing and superior customer service that is really tough to find. Well done, Velvet Green!

We contacted Velvet Green for two reasons, exceptional service and phenomenal results.  After each lawn treatment, Velvet Green exceeded our expectations. We’ve never had so many compliments on how green and lush our lawn is in years.  Tom’s  level of customer service and knowledge in implementing  and executing a… Read full review

I am 💯 satisfied with Velvet Green. My lawn has never looked better. Tom Johnson and his team are top notch. I am always informed when they will be servicing the lawn and notified again after the service is complete. This level of communication is rarely seen and greatly appreciated. And I love that the products are all organic and pet-friendly!!

We had rocks, weeds, and dirt before contacting Jeff's Landscape. They installed sod for a lawn with additional attractive plantings. Over the years all has been regularly serviced with Velvet Green's environmentally correct applications. Continuing an excellent lawn and thriving plants. We could not be happier with the results and the service.

We can't recommend Tom and the team at Velvet Green enough. When we bought our house in 2019 the lawn was a essentially a dirt patch with very sparse grass growth. In a relatively short period of time the team at Velvet Green has helped transform it into to a lush, full and resilient lawn. The over seeding with… Read full review

My lawn responded so well to the Velvet Green products and services used, and the staff was very professional and responsive to any questions. Highly recommending to family and friends!! Dogs love it too!!

Best lawn care I've had in 35 years as a homeowner. High quality service and extremely responsive.

I paid over 600 and have seen very little in return. I reached out to the manager with these concerns. He was rude in a passive aggressive way. At least 5 times he said, "I guess I'm just a little confused." I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.

I have been using Velvet Green Lawncare for a few years now and their service, both landscaping and customer service, are completely unparalleled. If you don’t have the time or the desire to take care of your own grounds, this is the crew to do it. You won’t regret it.

During this past Season I began using Velvet Green. To say I was impressed is an understatement. My lawn looks amazing after years of trying to fertilize myself. It began to change right away and by the end of the season it looked great! I also had them apply the tick/mosquito application and for the first time in… Read full review
