VKB did a fantastic job on my bathroom. From start to finish they were responsive, professional and did a quality job. I would use them again and recommend them in a heartbeat.
My first time ever working with a contractor. Went very smooth, even with some unexpected hiccups that all projects face. I now have a beautiful new bathroom how i wanted it. VKB and their teams made it happen!
We had an addition of a 3 seasons room with a deck on top completed back in August. It turned out even better than I had envisioned! The project took longer than expected, as often happens with construction, but the results have been great. John, Brandon, Eric, Haley, Tiffany and the rest of the crew were great to…

The building of our new addition was done timely and with precision. When I expressed concerns during the building, they were addressed and modification were made. Everything was top quality.

We love our new shower! Everyone at VKB was great to work with.
VKB did a great job-highly recommend!
Thank you so much for the 5-star review, Marsha! We truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your project, so thank you for trusting VKB Homes.
We recently worked with VKB Homes on several major home projects, including a full kitchen remodel, a new backyard patio, and the installation of a pellet stove, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The kitchen transformation completely elevated the quality and feel of our home. From the new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash to the beautiful tongue-and-groove ceiling, every detail came together exceptionally well. One of the biggest advantages of working with VKB Homes was their design support. Their team helped us design the space and guided us through selecting cabinet styles, tile colors, finishes, and other details that really brought the vision together. They also helped design and pour our backyard patio, creating a great outdoor space for our family to enjoy. Another thing we especially appreciated was their support through the permitting and county planning process. There were a few challenges and negotiations along the way, but VKB Homes stayed engaged and helped move everything forward professionally and effectively. Overall, the craftsmanship, communication, design expertise, and support throughout the projects were excellent. We would absolutely use VKB Homes again for our next major home renovation.
Eric, thank you so much for your thoughtful review, and for sharing some photos of the project! It was a pleasure working with you on your kitchen remodel, backyard patio, and pellet stove installation. We're thrilled to hear that you're happy with the finished results and that our design team helped bring your vision to life. We know that remodeling is about more than just construction, so we're especially glad our team could help make the design, permitting, and planning process as smooth as possible. Your kind words about our craftsmanship, communication, and attention to detail mean a great deal to us. Thank you again for trusting VKB Homes with your home. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to working with you again on your next renovation project!

The app they use to communicate and keep us posted on the progress they made was helpful! The work they did was done very well and we are very happy with how our basement turned out! The people who came to physically finish the basement were very kind and professional as well! Thanks VKB Homes! 😊

Beautiful tile work on bathroom of our dreams!
Thank you so much! We’re glad you love how everything turned out, Chris. Tile work can really make the space, and we’re proud of the detail and care that went into bringing your bathroom together. Hearing that it’s the bathroom of your dreams is exactly what we strive for! We truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your project, so, thank you again for trusting VKB Homes!
In a nutshell - We could not be more happy. I could talk about what this kitchen looks like, but the pictures speak for themselves. It’s GORGEOUS and just absolutely perfect. Instead, I wanted to spend the time talking about the people who made it possible. I have hated our kitchen for 20 years. Too small. Dark wood that sucked all the light away. Totally dysfunctional. We were finally able to make it my dream kitchen. VKB Homes hit it out of the park! A couple of times I had called other remodelers in the Oshkosh area; nobody even returned my call. This past Fall I left a voicemail with VKB Homes. I think it was a half an hour later and Zoe was returning my call. She came over and we fell in love with her enthusiasm and professionalism. Then we went in to go over 3 floor plans that Kori had come up with and make the design decisions. Within 30 seconds I said to myself, “We could be friends.” (And we became friends!) Kori got my vision perfectly. She could have designed the space without me and it would have been almost exactly what I wanted. And Kori shared my enthusiasm and joy throughout the 10 weeks that the project took. I met Tiffany, the scheduler (who has the hardest job in the whole company in my opinion - herding cats) and she was so excited for me and my monster island. She is the master of the schedule and she does a fantastic job making sure everyone and everything is where they’re supposed to be when they’re supposed to be there. Every person that I met at that company was just … happy. As a retired business owner, I KNOW how hard it is to build a team that has a positive attitude, loves their jobs, are professional and pleasant. That is so hard to do, and VKB Homes has a team that just works well together. That’s how I knew that this was a quality, successful organization, because when people are screwing up or slacking off, or have bad attitudes, it affects everyone and I saw none of that at VKB Homes. Just happy people! It was so refreshing. But my real test was going to be when I met the building crew, because it’s easier to be happy and love your job when you’re in an office, not doing the grunt work, not getting dirty, not doing the literal heavy lifting. I looked forward to meeting the building team members. Not only were the VKB team members pleasant and happy and professional, so too were all of the subcontractors. Every person who came into our home was pleasant. Adam was the lead and his super power is knowing how to do everything, fix everything, modify everything - and do it with a good attitude. It was his job to get it done correctly and make us happy. All of his team worked very well together. They helped each other to get it done. When an unforeseen issue came up they figured out how to fix it. They never got frustrated or upset with each other. In fact, they talked and laughed and just enjoyed themselves as they worked. I loved it! The Buildertrend app was awesome, too, because I had the whole schedule right at my fingertips, along with a way to message them, and get photo updates while we were gone for the first month of the project. You feel like you’re up-to-date with everything going on. It’s very professional. During the meeting when Eric (our project manager) and Adam met with all the subcontractors before the rebuild started, my husband asked Eric what their on-time completion rate was - 97%. That’s impressive! And everything happened either in the time frame on the schedule or before. They actually finished ahead of schedule. And now we have this amazing, bright space that is so functional and beautiful and it just makes us happy. And I’ve made some new friends along the way! We’ve got 2 more projects for our friends at VKB Homes and we’re looking forward to working with them again. I wish that I was younger because I would love to work for VKB Homes; I just love the vibe of this company. Happy and professional - a recipe for success! So THANK YOU to the whole team at VKB Homes!
Thank you for the wonderful review, Darcy! We're thrilled to hear that you're so happy with your new kitchen and the entire experience with our team. It's fantastic to know that you felt supported and excited throughout the process, from the initial call to the final project completion. We pride ourselves on having a dedicated and enthusiastic team, and it's great to see that their hard work and positive attitudes made a difference in your remodel. We can't wait to work with you on your future projects! Enjoy your beautiful new space!
We have used VKB for a kitchen remodel and, most recently, for an addition. We are massively impressed by the detail, quality, punctuality, and kindness of the entire staff and company. They were meticulous with every detail, design aspect, and question we had. Communication between all was above and beyond with any additions or changes discussed explained, and implemented without issue. Beyond that, working with their staff was very enjoyable. Each person we encountered was kind, answered our questions, and made sure that the work done was perfect. In fact, they came back to make a few adjustments on things that we didn’t even really notice. If you are looking for a quality company with integrity, we highly recommend VKB. We are already looking forward to our next project with them!
Thank you for such an awesome review, we really appreciate you taking the time to share this! It’s been a privilege to work with you on both your kitchen remodel and your addition. Having the opportunity to come back and be part of another project means a lot to us, and we don’t take that trust lightly. We’re glad to hear that the communication, attention to detail, and overall experience stood out. Our team works hard to stay proactive and make sure everything is clearly explained and executed the right way, so your feedback really reinforces what we aim to deliver on every project. Also, thank you for the kind words about our all of our staff. They genuinely care about the work they do and the people they’re working with, and it shows in the little things, like coming back to fine-tune items even when they may go unnoticed! We appreciate the recommendation more than you know and are extremely excited to be part of whatever you have planned next!
