We had a great experience with West Coast Deck for our deck repair and rebuild. Originally, we only knew of one rotten beam, and the initial quote for that work was very reasonable. They were upfront from the beginning that there could be additional hidden damage once demolition started, which turned out to be true. Much of the rear deck structure had deteriorated more than expected. Once they uncovered the additional damage, they provided a clear change order with three different repair options, all at fair pricing. We appreciated that they thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each option without pressuring us toward any one solution. The flexibility and transparency throughout the process really stood out. The team also gave us a clear outline of the project phases (demolition, framing, stucco, and paint). Exact dates depended on subcontractor availability, but overall the project moved along in a timely manner and communication with the field team was always straightforward. The final result turned out significantly better than what we started with. They maintained the original column design, stucco’ed under the deck, and did an impressive job matching the paint. The quality of workmanship was excellent. There were a couple minor hiccups along the way. Some of our smaller 2x4s intended for garden beds were accidentally mixed in with demolition scrap and hauled away, but when we mentioned it, they immediately offered some leftover framing lumber to make up for it. Another thing worth mentioning (and this part was completely our decision) we initially chose to keep the old railing instead of having it hauled away. After the project was complete, we realized it was too rusted to reuse. We reached back out to Jameson, and even though he absolutely didn’t have to, he kindly agreed to pick it up the next time his crew is in the area. Overall, we would absolutely recommend them for their pricing, quality, integrity, and flexibility.

West Coast Deck was an absolute lifesaver. After a very disappointing experience with a “handyman” who dismantled my deck stairs and failed to return, I urgently needed a reliable team I could trust. That is when I found West Coast Deck. From my first conversation with Jameson, the experience was professional, responsive, and reassuring. I explained the urgency on a Friday, received all paperwork over the weekend, and by Monday at noon the WCD team was already on-site and working. The entire team was exceptional. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, communication, and work ethic exceeded expectations. They repaired, reinstalled, and restored all three decks in just a few days, and the finished product looks outstanding and built to last. West Coast Deck turned a stressful situation into a seamless experience. I could not recommend them more highly and they will absolutely be my go-to team for any future deck or woodworking projects. My husband reached out to the company on Thursday 5/14/2026 via their own website and Jameson text right away and discuss what we had in mind. My husband provided information on the state of our deck, including a photo of what we wanted repair. Jameson said he would call “in a bit” and that is the last we heard from him. We feel ghosted and don’t feel like we need to chase a company for their service. Don’t know what’s going on with this company but if you are too busy to take on a client, just say so, don’t ghost.

I'm pretty disappointed with the experience I had trying to get a proposal from West Coast Deck. I had a really good initial perspective when I talked to them on the phone and a visit at my house to look and talk about what we had in mind. I was told to wait a couple days for a proposal. However, after that everything went down hill. I had to follow up multiple times to see if we would receive a proposal and was told they were still working on it. Well it's been over a month now and after reaching out multiple times again and letting them know I was disappointed after being ghosted with no communication. I have still yet to hear anything back after being told they would send something.

Very reasonable pricing, friendly staff that communicated well, my deck came out amazing. Have referred them to my friends already and will absolutely use them again in the future.
