In short, don't hesitate--take your computer to West Main Tech. Mine had two main issues over the course of 6 months. First the old hard drive corrupted and YEARS of data was about to be lost. I tried every trick I could read about online and finally gave in to see if a professional could recover it. As I do, I called around to different places. "Whoa" said one place, "that's pretty old. I could charge you for the time but I'll go ahead and tell you it's probably not gonna work. You should mail off to these guys (I think they were in colorado) but they're very expensive." I was apprehensive about mailing off my hard drive anywhere, so the next place I called was West Main Tech. Brent, very determined to get the data, was able to do the very difficult task of recovering the data off a corrupt hard drive. All of it. The second issue came when after the computer turned on, nothing appeared on the monitor. Thinking the old computer was dying again, Brent was able to recommend a solution that make it work again. And once again, the old computer works fine. The entire staff is super friendly, super accommodating, and works very hard to get your needs met. I now have a sure first-stop every time to get my computer problems taken care of, and I'd highly recommend them to fix any computer issues you may have.

This place is AWESOME! I had a nasty virus/trojan and this affected my husbands business and it was a serious situation for us. After doing a bit of trying to fix the problem myself, it was clear this was out of my league. I called West Main Tech and Brent (I think that was his name) was SO HELPFUL, UNDERSTANDING and KIND. He understood the seriousness of my situation and was my HERO! I hung up from our call and out the door I went. I gave him my sad computer and external backup on Wednesday late afternoon and got my machine back in 2 days. I am so happy to report, my husband's business files are all saved, my computer is clean and we are up and running again. Oh and the cost was so fantastic! I have never have needed outside assistance for my computer issues, but if I EVER do, this will be my go to place. Do yourself a favor, don't mess around with anyone else, THIS is the place to go!

I am notorious for having multiple tabs open at once. He did turn off a couple things in Crome that it suggested but I honestly have just avoided using Crome and switched to using Safari. West Main Tech was recommended to me when I mentioned I needed help with setting up my new laptop. Alex was excellent in supporting every area I needed. Extremely professional and really patient. I was working on a project last week when my wireless keyboard sparked, smoked and died, and I had no backup. I had just moved to Middletown a week before and had seen West Main while walking my Yorkie. I went in, and a couple people looked up and asked how they could help. I told them what had happened and asked if they could sell me a keyboard. One guy (I didn’t get any names) initially told me they didn’t have a wireless keyboard, and then asked if a wired one would be OK, that they had several spares in the back room. When I said that would be great, he gave me one and as I was pulling out my wallet he said no charge. I’ll definitely return there for any future computer needs.
