It took us a while to write this review, mostly because we wanted to make sure it accurately described our experience with Brad and Katie. We got lucky when choosing Western Idaho Builders to do a full bathroom and kitchen remodel. They were organized, prompt, professional, and straight forward. Most importantly,…
Our project started about 2 almost 3 years ago now and Brad and Katie have been with us from the beginning.
They assisted when they could with the subdivison process. We came to them with a floorplan already in mind and they set us up with a draftsman to compose those blueprints.
We lived out of state during this process and we were building a multi-family home; basically a 2 in 1. These two things could have easily complicated the whole process, but Brad and Katie were prepared and organized. They effectively and efficiently worked with us through the added complications our situation brought on.
They were patient and always responsive during the year and a half it took to get the subdivision process completed.
One of the benefits to working with Brad and Katie is that they have a lot of contacts and good working relationships with other professionals. It made working with subcontractors easier, they helped us find a lender who specializes in construction loans, they knew a 3-D designer who helped ease our concerns about our design, and also had real estate connections.
Overall we are EXTREMELY happy with our house. We cannot say enough good things about everyone Brad and Katie subcontracted: Cody and his crew - who did the framing, EZ remodels who installed doors, baseboards, closet systems, Sawyer and his crew did a great job on the plumbing, Tesla electric and the tile work was installed with attention to detail.
As with any house build there are some things along the way that happen. Brad and Katie NEVER tried to hide anything. Any problem that occurred they immediately would let us know what was going on and always had a solution. When we decided to build a house you hear horror stories from people and their own house building experiences. Working with Brad and Katie was a great experience and we would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to build a house or remodel.
Even after the house has been finished Brad and Katie have been there to help us with any troubleshooting. I know they will be here for many years to come if anything comes up. They gave us contacts for landscaping - Longhorn Landscaping - who were fantastic! Anytime we need anything we call Brad and Katie first to see if they have a contact. They know all the best people.
They helped make our dream a reality. We love our spaces and it immediately felt like home. It’s been the space we wanted it to be from day one. It’s the space where everyone comes together. It’s our home, our family and we are so thankful to have Brad and Katie be a part of that. If you follow them on social media you will see videos and images of our project!

Brad and Katie were our lifesavers! They took on a complete remodel of our 1970s home from start to finish and truly brought our home back to life. We originally thought we could take this on by ourselves but that quickly became a project we were not prepared for - in comes Brad and Katie - the calm in our storm! What started as an overwhelming project ended up being fun and relatively stress free. The communication, work quality and attention to detail with all the subcontractors was top notch.
My husband and I had looked for a contractor to remodel our master bath for quite some time. Either it was too expensive, would hugely disrupt the household for too long of a period, or they were booked too far out. That was until we met Brad & Katie. Western Idaho Builders promptly answered our call met with us with the next few days and came up with a reasonable quote and timeline, and a plan where we did not have to pack up and move out if our bedroom for months.
Brad & Katie were excellent at helping us decide on design and materials. They were always in contact. Their foreman was such a delight to work with and have in our home for the number of weeks it took. We felt completely taken care of.
I would highly recommend Western Idaho Builders to anyone and look forward to future projects with them.

It took us a while to write this review, mostly because we wanted to make sure it accurately described our experience with Brad and Katie. We got lucky when choosing Western Idaho Builders to do a full bathroom and kitchen remodel. They were organized, prompt, professional, and straight forward. Most importantly, they cared about the project. They made suggestions about what would look good and what was feasible in our space. I do not regret trusting them with such a big investment. I felt comfortable the entire time as they reassured me when any barriers arose. I would recommend them to anyone.

We used Western Idaho Builders LLC to remodel our kitchen and two bathrooms. Their work was impeccable, well priced beautifully done. We first contacted Brad back in the spring and he was quick to respond and gave us a detailed estimate. Brad and his team were ready to start the job on our schedule and kept us up-to-date on the progress of the job at every step. Brad was quick to respond to all of my questions along the way. The final product came out beautifully and we couldn't be happier with the before and after. I would highly recommend Western Idaho Builders LLC to anyone looking to remodel their home.
