Wow. I was going to actually wait to write this review because everything that our inspector Sean said was slowly but surely being revealed by the sellers of the home. Either the sellers were trying to hide information or really did not know the information. But Sean nailed every issue! My mother and I cannot thank…
Overall reliable service …this is the third house I’ve had inspected with this company and service is excellent every time.
They were very professional and good at what they do!
Sean is absolutely amazing. He was very thorough and friendly. Shaun explained everything as he was going through, always asked if we had any questions or concerns. His amount of knowledge was beyond words! We will definitely use him in the future and suggest him to anyone who’s looking. We truly knew that he wanted…

I was provided excellent service. Jim was extremely attentive. I would recommend Xcellence Inspection Services to anyone. I would also recommend Jim.
I am a first-time homebuyer and needed someone to do a full inspection of this home in the middle of a Chicago winter. Not only was the inspector pleasant to work with but thoroughly walked me through each room to notate and explain any/every detail that may cause investment further down the road from insulation in…
Every step of inspection was explained as it was being done. All my questions were answered in detail and Sean was very professional. I would highly recommend his services!
Xcellence did a home inspection for me and my expectations were exceeded with their professionalism, quality, technology and the inspector was fantastic. A+++
Xcellence Inspection Services were much more thorough when compared with a service I've used in the past. Their reports are so organized and I love how they include a list of renovations prices. I am constantly wondering about how much it'd cost me to renovate the kitchen or bathroom, so it was neat they had it.…
Xcellence Inspection was immensely helpful in conducting my home inspection. Jim was thorough, demonstrated outstanding expertise and readily shared his observations of the strengths as well as small improvements needed while conducting the inspection. I highly recommend Xcellence Inspection.
Mr. Rob Mcgee was patient, professional and knowledgeable. He was very informative and knew his stuff. I learned a lot from him and glad I had the pleasure to watch him work.
From the beginning, Rob was very friendly. My wife and I are first time homebuyers and he really made us feel heard and eased into the process. He allowed us to follow every step he took and explained everything along the way. He was very thorough in all the things he looked at and even asked us questions to make…
I referred my client to Xcellence and from a Realtor's perspective, it was superb service! I appreciate the follow-ups and confirmations from Xcellence's office leading up to the appointment. The inspector, Robert McGee, was prompt, through and informative. Robert explained findings to the buyers and even alerted me…
We’re very happy that we booked Xcellence to conduct our home inspection. It was a little bit of a hassle getting it scheduled but the owner was nice enough to do it on a Saturday after they had to cancel earlier in the week. He was thorough and very friendly. We definitely recommend Xcellence to anyone looking for a home inspection.
My inspector was prompt, professional and very thorough with his explanations to my questions. He was very knowledgeable & he educated me on some some very important factors on my potential new home. This inspection definitely helped me to dodge an expensive bullet. I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase…
Very knowledgeable, polite and professional. Job well done thank you.
Very detailed inspection report. I was able to come to the home after the inspection. Sean walk me through the home and explained his findings. I received the detailed report via email the next day.
