Dave Lopez taught our son, as well as several other young people in our church, to play guitar, He related to them well and was an excellent teacher. We highly recommend him. Bayless & Janet Conley
The first song I heard David play was Santeria by Sublime which is one of my favorites. I later learned he’s in Motown band, Soul 360, so caught a few of his shows and it never disappoints; my wife, our parents and cousins all have a good time. He teaches my daughter and she loves it!

I recently had a gig as a sound technician at St. Kilian church for their Oktoberfest event where I had the pleasure of hearing Dave play guitar for the first day of the event. In all of my life hearing thousands of different guitar players, Dave's playing stood out to me and touched my heart in ways I can barely put into words. His ability to support his band while still standing out in a positive manner had me stunned and had me running to speak with him after the show. Another thing I'd like to highlight about Dave is his passion but his competency as a teacher. I've been playing guitar for around 9 years on and off and even then, during a short introductory session, Dave was able to shine a light on concepts that I felt stuck on and helped me break through plateaus I didn't even know were present. Dave's ability to explain concepts in a kind and caring manner is truly unmatched and anyone looking to level up their playing would be blessed to have Dave as their teacher.
Thank you Aaron for your kind words. You did a great job as FOH engineer for the gig because you have GREAT EARS! After hearing some of your music, I truly realized how talented you are as a musician & a composer. Keep up the great work. You will have a great future in music!
