Review from Google · view on GoogleUpdate: The driver was absolutely polite and attention to detail. His truck had broke down, sleeping in his truck to make ends meet, as they are paid by the car. The tow trucks need better maintenance, better tools for all type of vehicle's as some will need things like the drive shaft removed to tow. Getting someone to show up was the original problem with a lack of communication. We were originally told they would be at our house in the afternoon. Around 5:30 p.m., we received a message saying they would arrive before 7:30. No one showed up, and there was zero communication or update. We finally went to bed around 9:00. After 11:30 p.m., we received a message saying the driver was in Newport and would come the next morning between 9:30 and 11:00. The next morning at 9:00 we were told he was in a neighboring town but couldn't find our house the night before. In an age of GPS, I'm not sure how that happens, and not call or text. Then we were told his truck had broken down and another truck was coming from about 1.5 hours away. After 1:00 p.m. it was us reaching out again not them, we were told there was now another vehicle that had to be picked up before ours, and they might make it to us around 4:00. sounded like the drive was in a restaurant so he certainly could have gave us an update. At this point, we have spent the better part of two days staying home and losing work while waiting for an insurance-authorized tow. Delays and mechanical problems happen, but the complete lack of reliable communication, realistic arrival times, and any sense of priority is unacceptable. If you cannot provide the service within the timeframe you give a customer, communicate that clearly so people aren't left sitting at home for hours—or days—waiting.
