Aroldo came to check after I feared that I saw evidence of rodents. He showed me the openings were still sealed and there was no rat poop. He set traps just in case and reassured me, so I was very pleased. He also made a point of protecting my dog from the traps in case the dog decides to nose around them.

Alley Cat came out today to do a follow up check on the exclusion work they did three weeks ago. This was all included in our contract. Jose changed out traps and identified a couple of areas they want to close up so they are scheduled to come back in a week. They are a great company to work with. They are…

Amateur Hour. I've now had Alley cat technicians here 3 times and there is still at least 1 hole (that I know of) that mice can get through, and I still have mice. Each time they returned, the new technician found obvious mistakes from the previous technician - like forgetting to pull out the dishwasher and look behind it. This tells me they don't have a checklist.
The second technician had a neat tool with a screen and a probe that allowed him to see behind furniture and inside walls. When I commented on it he told me the company doesn't provide it, he had to buy it himself. It was $30. This tells me they don't equip their people.
The most recent technician, when I pointed out a hole in the mesh the first tech put around the emergency gas valve shutoff, figured he'd fix it by stapling mesh over the whole thing, blocking the valve. This is a major code violation, because it's a fire hazard - if I ever did need to shut off the gas valve in case of emergency, I wouldn't able to reach it now. This tells me they don't provide training.
When I pointed out the issue and requested that he remove the mesh, he *argued* with me about it. After a call to the office, he did redo the mesh. When I checked it after he left - the hole I'd originally pointed out was still there.
Each of these visits requires me take hours off work, and each time after the visit I'd wait the requisite 2 weeks, and then see another mouse in my kitchen, restarting the clock. It's been months of this. My neighbor in the same building who used them is also still having mice after multiple visits.
At this point I don't have confidence in their work. The 1 year warranty sounded great, but in reality it isn't useful if having them return does no good. After spending close to $1000 I still have mice and may have to hire someone else to redo the work.

Jose was very personable and looked over all the traps that were still in place from a few weeks ago and saw that no rodents were caught in the traps. Since all the holes were covered, no rodents came back into our property.
