Headline: WORTH THE DRIVE, EVEN FROM COLLIERVILLE, and EVERY VISIT IS SOMEHOW BETTER THAN THE ONE BEFORE. ...||... I teach violin in Memphis, and this is the only shop I'll send my students to - their rental instruments are good, their customer service is the best in town, and literally every time I send a student there, they somehow have an even better experience than the previous time. I used to tell my students to rent or buy an instrument from out of town, but now I send them to Amro instead. Their high level of service has made me a Believer with a capital B. ....||.... Seriously - if you want an instrument in Memphis, GO TO AMRO. Don't bother with anywhere else. Sure, other shops (or mail order) may be more "convenient," but once you sign a rental contract with them and you can't get what you need due to lack of expertise, lack of stock, or having to mail the instrument back, "convenient location" becomes "worst decision made". ...||... To end on a positive note, If I can get something from Amro instead of elsewhere, I do it. They're fantastic, and worth the drive into town!
