My dog is large and gets scared when she goes to the vet. Both the doctor and her specialist handled Cookie expertly which contributed to making this a successful visit.
As always staff very helpful.attention to detail.
Personnel was very caring and professional. They answered all my questions very well detailed.
Very professional
Great place for vetenarian service. Very friendly Staff and Dr's.
Had my first vet appointment on the 10th this month for my pitbull they are very expensive and gave me some medicine in house for itch says 36 tablets but I counted only 24 tablets do they want my dog to get better or just squeeze as much money out me as possible
Every one was great!
Very knowledgeable & friendly Vet and staff.
They are so sweet and kind to my hyper Leah. They take good care of her
We moved to Tennessee a year ago and I thoroughly researched the veterinarians in the area. My choice was Appalachian Veterinary Hospital and I am so thankful I made the right decision. It has been almost a year since my first appointment and I have been there several times for just the yearly checkups to major…
Kind and courteous. Actually spent time with and spoke to my American Pitbull Terrier companion. Hands-on & gently looked her over. Asked questions. Felt like a very personally experience instead of other Vet centers which have felt like a rotating door and conveyor belt.
Had a first time meeting with Dr. Sylaidis. Our 9 month old Shepherd/Malinois girl had the “itchies” . She asked questions and diagnosed without us feeling rushed. She also suggested that since our Pup was 9 months old and already huge, ( 75 lbs.) Anatolian Shepherd was in her genes too. Totally agree! Would Highly recommend!
Appalachian Veterinary Hospital has been our Veterinarians for all of our pets for 25 years. They always consider each pet's needs and provide the best medical care possible. I am thankful for their dedication and their compassion towards all pets; in the past, now, and in the future. May they always be here for our furry family members.
We have a South African Boerboel and they were great with him. They listened to my husband about him and everything was taken care of.
The only place I will take my pets. My pup had a semi emergency and they were able to fit him in that day. I only waited a short time and as always they were very caring and took care of the problem. The vets are very good at explaining issues in layman terms.
Employees are nice and informative. It is very clean and pleasant, no long wait time.
As usual, the Appalachian Veterinary staff was thorough and considerate during our visit with our most recent addition to our family of fur babies, Schuster (our 8-month-old Lynx Point Siamese). Vet bills are high, but the money is well-spent at Appalachian. They treat our kitters and puppies like family—which they ARE!
New patient. Treated us like old friends who had genuine concerns to make sure we understood everything and was very informative and helpful. I'm glad I brought my dog to them. Helped us understand and not just talked to. I will be back the next time because of all the staff.
Long story short— I was charged an emergency fee due to whatever receptionist didn’t take down my appointment time. Also, they don’t know their own office numbers. I had proof of communication and wasn’t enough. It just felt odd that they didn’t check into that. I can see that being a constant problem if they don’t…
Our Veterinarian is excellent in every aspect. She takes all the time to answer questions and always has taken the very best care of our pets.
Our first visit with our newly rescued pup was a great experience! From initial contact to checkout the staff could not have been more professional…… Appalachian Veterinary is a first class facility.
Very nice and sweet people. I went to the emergency vet in Morristown and they wanted to charge me 2k.This lovely place charged only $489. Very nice and warm environment. Highly recommend taking your pets here.
Excellent care and very caring personnel
Wonderful place to bring your pets.
Honestly I’d come here a million times over and over again. We unfortunately had to put our beloved baby down a couple days ago, and the ladies there were just so kind and supportive. They gave us as much time as we needed with her. Thank you so so much for being the best people. My husband and I respect all these ladies. The best vet we’ve been to.
I have used this vet for years. Brought my newest dog after she spent the weekend at the Emergency vet clinic for being hit by a car. They hadn't seen her before and still acted like she was there all the time. They're always so nice and prices are extremely reasonable. Great care taken.
The staff was amazing . But the continued price changes are not good . I called to secduel my dogs shots was told $200 for all 4 dogs . ( 2 large dogs and 2 small dogs ) Got there to learn that was not accurate at all. It was $200 for two large dogs. So I couldn't afford all shots for small dogs I could only get…
First visit for new pup. Patient and professional, kind and friendly. Our boxer Buddy was a hit!
Everyone is this office is very kind, caring and gentle with my dog. He's usually very scared when we go to the vet but he is much calmer since coming here.
Always good to see our dogs quickly if there was an issue. Gave our dogs some special attention. Prompt at answering our calls. Just the best veterinary place ever!
Very friendly and polite people. Easy to make appointments
Had a 10:00 appointment, was 10 minutes early and didn't see a Doctor until 10:40. Shouldn't have to wait that long with an appointment.
