At the most difficult time in my life April (Assisted Living Locators) stepped in and held my hand. I have love and gratitude in my heart and want everyone to know what a positive presence April had in helping us choose a new home for my husband. Caring for a loved one with dementia is full time. April did all the busy work in locating and coordinating memory care home options. This allowed me to focus on my husband. This also was reassuring because I only wanted to consider reputable homes and Aprils experience in this field and her understanding our what we wanted enabled us to choose the best care.

I cannot recommend Assisted Living Locators and our senior care advisor, April, highly enough. She supported our family for many months, from October 2025 through May 2026, as I navigated the difficult process of finding the right assisted living community for my aunt. From the very beginning, she was professional, warm, patient, and incredibly understanding. At no point did I ever feel pressured to make a decision. She understood that moving a loved one into assisted living is not simply a matter of comparing facilities and prices—it is an emotional process, and sometimes decisions change as a family member works through the fear and uncertainty of a major transition. She gave us the time and space we needed while remaining available whenever I needed guidance. Her communication was always prompt, and her research was thorough. She followed up with communities, researched availability, pricing, promotions, care costs, transportation, and other details that I would never have had the time or knowledge to track down on my own. She also arranged tours, followed up afterward, recommended other trusted senior-related services, and continued checking in even after my aunt had moved and was settling into her new home. What I appreciated most, though, was how genuinely caring she was throughout the entire journey. After so many months of emails, changes of plans, questions, and decisions, she began to feel less like an advisor and more like a trusted family friend who truly cared about my aunt and wanted the best for her. Finding the right assisted living community can be overwhelming. Looking back, I honestly don't know how I would have navigated this process without her. I am incredibly grateful for her kindness, patience, knowledge, and support, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family beginning this journey.

I can't recommend Laura at Assisted Living Locators enough. We first connected with Laura back in August 2024, and what really stood out was her incredible patience throughout the entire process. Finding the right place for our 81-year-old father wasn’t quick or easy, but Laura never rushed us and supported us every step of the way. Thanks to her guidance, we were finally able to find the right fit for him at Oakmont of Orange just last week. And if you're like us where you're thrust into this situation of navigating senior living options, Laura helped us understand the nuances between the different communities and helped us navigate options we wouldn’t have known how to evaluate on our own. Beyond that, her kindness and genuine understanding made a difficult and emotional process much more manageable. She really takes the time to listen and cares deeply about the families she works with. She also has an amazing network. She seems to know everyone at every accredited facility and can book tours quickly and efficiently!
