Charlie, Julian and Ruben took excellent care of me for my first visit at the shop. I decided to work with them because I also have a friend who used to work at one of these locations. I was extremely impressed with the quality of communication and service. I brought my 2010 Audi A4 in thinking it could be at the…
Ruben & Julian were both very helpful at the front desk. They answered all my questions and price was good. Everyone in the shop was friendly and the place felt welcoming.
I really appreciate how honest this business is. They were efficient and had my car ready the same day.
I've gone to Austin Automotive twice when my regular mechanic couldn't address a specific issue. I have a 15 year old car that I am keeping as long as possible. In both cases, the team was really transparent about any limitations they might have - i.e. setting proper expectations. In both cases they knocked it out…
I recently had my car repaired here. I found them to be upfront, honest and fair priced. Will definitely use them again and would recommend them to my friends and family.
Love this place! They work quickly and thoroughly. I’m risk-averse and not very knowledgeable about cars, but they never oversold or upcharged me like some other places. Thanks for taking care of my car!
These guys are pretty awesome. They took on inspections and repairs that Firestone did not want to or were negligent on. I was finally able to get my car maintained and back to great running condition. Thanks guys for all y’all did.
Professional, honest, and great customer service. I highly recommend taking your car here.
I trust this shop 100%! I've been coming here for years with multiple vehicles and the experience is always above and beyond. There is a reason these guys are always so busy. Andy really makes you feel comfortable and confident that he's going to take good care of your vehicle. I would recommend them to everyone!
Very friendly staff, professional , and timely! Got me in and out quickly and did great work!
No time wasted! They are punctual and courteous.
Great work on my truck! Thank you Automotive Specialists!
Friendly staff. Quality work.
Took my truck yesterday to have them check out why my brakes went completely out. Another shop had diagnosed it properly, but I trust Austin Automotive more. Sure enough, it was related to a big recall for F150s and they did the research for me and even printed the documentation so I can take it to the dealer. Oh,…
I called the auto service department and told them I had an oil leak. They told me to come in - set an appt - the service is great. Austin Auto Spec. is the only place I have taken my car in about 7 years. Deal with auto business only.
I had my Mercedes serviced at the William Cannon location. I had an appointment & as soon as I arrived the technician started working on my car. Maria at the front desk was polite, helpful and kept me informed on the time frame of when the job would be complete because I had an event scheduled that I needed to…
32yo agreeable female, with zero car knowledge and a litany of past exploitative experiences with car mechanics, my faith in honest mechanics has been restored!! I dealt with Marie from front shop mainly over the phone & my mechanic was Andy. I had been given a faulty alternator from Midas up the road and…
Service was prompt, professional and thorough. I received a fair quote and the customer service experience was excellent. Thank you so much!
This team is terrific to work with. Everything was reviewed ahead of time. I’m so glad I found someone in South Austin that I can trust.
Quality work with great prices. About a year ago, I called them to look into an oil leak on my car that I recently had brought to the dealership for an oil change. They said that the dealership probably forgot to tighten the oil plugs, and I should bring it back to them because they would do it for free. They were…
I went for an oil change. They did not use the manufacturer‘s recommended oil. They used an oil that is compatible but can only be used in “one off” instances (this oil is thicker). This is fine but I brought my car in earlier than the required oil change date. Using a more viscous oil kinda defeats the purpose…
Adjusting my five star review from four years ago to account for the Greatwater 360 takeover of this business. Over the last 12 months cost has gone through the roof and value has plummeted. Service is still about the same, which I'm grateful for. One upside of the takeover is better technology for booking services.…
Great work!
I cannot recommend this mechanic shop enough. Brandon and Andy are trustworthy and very communicative. I went twice in two weeks for two separate issues and before I even came in, they were texting me with advice. I swoon for a great custom service experience and they exceeded that. I will bring all of my cars here!
They are always good at communicating what they find and helping me prioritize (to for my time and budget) services. They have been very helpful for both major and minor problems and refer me elsewhere when needed.
Been using them for several years. Always honest, reasonable and timely. Can’t beat that in a mechanic. Simply cannot beat it.
Great service as always. I really appreciate how they take the time to go over issues in depth. Customer service is absolutely exceptional. I always recommend Austin's Automotive.
Tim was awesome, got my car back on the road after it had been sitting for a while and even helped me keep it within my budget. Will definitely use them in the future.
Brake Job done right - along with oil change - 2015 Tundra with 118K miles
Andy is honest and thurogh and kind. Mechanics seem to be aware and proffessiomal. Thank you Andy Robert K.
My second visit. They did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
Best service team!!!
I love this place. It’s my go-to place for all my car’s maintenance. They are honest and do a great job with my car every time. Highly recommend.
Andy is incredible. This is the best experience I’ve ever received with my car. Andy and his team have been a saving grace for me!!!!
When I went in here with my RAM Promaster City I had a simple problem that was fixed easily and quickly. What impressed me more was listening to their staff speak with another customer. They determined the problem with this woman's car and gave her an estimate of the repairs. She was short on cash and asked if she…
Great service. Alll work done on time and as scheduled. Nice people. I am really happy with their service.
Real honest professionals here. They talked me out if work, twice because of certain circumstances with my car. Great folks!
Andy and his crew always give us great service and went above and beyond to help with vehicle issues at a fair price
Andy @ Austin Automotive makes me feel like family. We take all of our cars there for our maintenance and urgent care needs. He has always provided us with honest recommendations and time frames for those recommendations. I have been with Austin Automotive for 20 yrs and counting. I wonder what I will do when Andy retires.
I have been coming here for over 10 years for each of my vehicles. I will not let anyone else touch my cars. Andy and all the team at Austin Automotive Specialists are honest, hardworking straight shooters who stand behind their craftsmanship. Car repairs can be stressful, but they always take care of their patrons…
Dan is extremely kind and accommodating when you call to schedule an appointment. Asks many questions to best understand what our need was for service. Thoroughly explained what the diagnostic process found and what the sequence of events would be to do repairs. First time ever I have received photos of my car and…
I have been trusting all 3 of my family's vehicles to Austin's Automotive Specialists on William Cannon for years. They have been very honest and trustworthy. They do quality work. I highly recommend them!
One of the best shops in town in my opinion. Knowledgeable, Honest, quick and willing to go beyond to help you resolve issues. I recommend this place to all my friends
i have had 3 vehicles over the years serviced by them and have never had any regrets
I have never been disappointed by AAS on William Cannon. I keep coming to them even though other businesses/locations are closer to me because of their amazing service. They are super busy because they’re so good but they always are able to accommodate me. I would recommend planning ahead for your regular…
I return to this company for all my auto repair needs due to their fine work, wonderful staff and fair pricing. They are honest and helpful. Highly recommend them!
These guys are great! They’re so helpful and knowledgeable. I really love how they show compassion. Car stuff can be so stressful and overwhelming but they do such a great job of talking to you like you’re actually human! They are kind and professional and I trust them fully
I had an alternator issue and it required replacement. These folx were super professional and treated me and my car well from start to finish. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent predictable service. Highly recommended.
Very fast, affordable, professional. Andrew even took my car to get it state inspected, thanks again Andrew - you are awesome. I’m sure to be back.
I had such a great experience with the crew at Austin Automotive. The scheduling process was super easy, their prices were fair, and they had my car finished by end of day. Will definitely be back in the future.
Austin's Automotive Specialists are the real deal. Knowledgeable and honest! Such a relief to find a locally-owned business. I was looking for a new vehicle repair shop as the local company I used for 20+ years was sold. I will definitely be getting all my vehicle service needs handled by AAS.
Had to get a few services done on my vehicle and the quote they gave me was more than fair! The customer service was outstanding! Tim was super kind and kept me up to date with everything going on with my vehicle. Will definitely drive the hour to get my car serviced here again.
I highly recommend Austin's automotive specialist! The manager Andy is very good at what he does and is the best! Pat him on his wallet not just his back. I've seen numerous social media post about recommending Andy, that's why I went there and was not disappointed. April C.
Andy and his crew went beyond. Normal service to find the compressor for my vehicle. I highly recommend their work and their prices.
I had my Honda towed to this location after a part had come loose in my car. Tim was able to get me checked in easily over the phone then had my car back up and running within a day of dropping it off. Thank you Tim and Austin's Automotive Specialist!
We have an older vehicle that is kept for sentimental reasons which my oldest drives and Andy always takes the best care of us and keeps him safe. We originally came here because it was very close by, but we really stumbled upon a gem of a place. They care and always go above and beyond and it feels like the old…
Solid work and quick weekend service with a tow. Price was high but solid work so far. Update: I've returned here 3 times for various services. The work is still Grade A and my first call every time.
When you find a great auto repair shop it’s like finding a great doctor! You always go back. We have been going to Andy and his crew for years. You might not like what you hear from them but you can bet it is what your car needs. Would not go anywhere else. Honesty and integrity is what they are about.
The shop was really busy when I called them about a burned out headlamp. The guy at the desk still managed to squeeze me in once I explained I was from out of town and needed the headlamp fixed to drive home safely to New Mexico. I wish we had a shop like this where I live!
Very professional with great/quick service & turn-a-round time.. thanks for the "Great Service" !
I’ve been here multiple times and have always had a great experience. First time there they came in at 50% of the dealers quote. They’ve also honored warranties on their work no questions asked. Have always worked with Andy and feel like he communicates exactly what needs to be fixed without the menu of “nice to…
They are very friendly and respectful and professional. I had no problem with my car after it had been fix there.
Fast and trustworthy service.
Incredible customer service. I was in and out so quickly. And when at first they thought they couldn’t repair my broken tail light, they recommended an auto shop that they prefer. In the end they were able to repair it easily and did it quickly and inexpensively. Highly recommend.
We have used this location of Austin Automotive Specialists for 7 years on all our cars. They are reliable and honest, tell you what is wrong and what doesn’t need to be done. Andy and his team are the best!
Been bringing my car here after having a few bad experiences at Lamb’s. These people are amazing! Excellent service and kind, thoughtful, and thorough explanations for all of my questions and concerns. I know “honest” and “mechanic” generally means the opposite when used in the same sentence, but this place really…
My car started misfiring, and I feared the worst. Haven’t had a reliable mechanic in years, but I took a chance on these folks. Not only did I get my car back running the next day, I got it with great customer service & a reasonable price. The best news? I now have a reliable mechanic.
Andy and his team did a fantastic job! Thank you Andy!
Great experience here. I use them for all my auto maintenance and find them to be honest and the prices to be fair.
The best shop in south Austin good customer service they treat their customers right always on time on there work
I had a great experience here, with prompt answers to my questions and were willing to educate me on the repairs, for someone who knows next to nothing about car maintenance. The appointment setup was easy, and engine repairs and other tune-ups were done quickly and at a fair price!
Great service as usual. Will be back soon! Thanks again fellas
Great and friendly team. Always loved having a local shop that won't ask for an arm and a leg for repairs and these guys hit all the marks. Friendly, honest and professional. If you're in a pinch and need something fast, or need serious repairs these are your guys. Will consistently give them business, cheers guys!
Went in because the check engine light was on in my car. They gave a detail breakdown on what the issue was and the part that needed replacement. Would recommend this place for anyone that is having car issues. 10/10
Had a squealing belt. They fixed it.
I came here after trying to go to the dealership first and having a bad experience. My friend recommended this place- I walked in and they looked at my car same day- it was making awful clunking sounds. They gave me a reasonable and detailed quote and completed the work in a reasonable time. Overall, I was very…
Austin Automotive is a true blessing! Always came for oil changes and had an easy and quick experience. My car randomly stopped and after sitting in the dodge dealership’s repair shop for months with no answers. I finally decided to have my car towed here. Once my Dodge Dart made it into Austin Automative hands from…
We have had multiple services performed on two different vehicles at this shop. Simply put, I have never had a better customer experience. Andy is extraordinary and I could not be more complimentary of his commitment to assuring that we have the best service and customer experience. Tremendously appreciate!!
Andy was great!! Got a extremely reasonable estimate. And his team took care of it the same day. I’ll DEFINITELY be back for them for any car issues I may have. THANKS GUYS!
