I love using these guys, and we've worked on two urban jobs, South Boston and Cambridge. They are not only excellent at their jobs, but the crew is professional, courteous, and thorough.
We have had Barrett Tree Service East keep our mature trees - some over 80 + year old healthy and trimmed for several years now. Ryan helped us rescue an 80 year old Japanese maple after a dry and extremely varied temperature winter. Barrett has also helped keep our 30 foot yews trimmed back so that their boughs…
I have had an excellent experience working with them. They seem to care more than others about their quality and pleasing the customer. I feel thjeir advice about pruning my trees is excellent. They are prompt and dependable.
As always, Barrett dud a great job. We've used them for pruning back trees away from the house and also for dead tree removal. Their office is responsive and the people that come to do the work are very knowledgeable and nice. Will continue to work with them as needed!
As always, the Barrett crew was skillful, efficient & impressive in their removal of a large, dead spruce from my property. In a downpour no less!
These folks have kept my trees strong and healthy for years. When a recent storm with hurricane force wind toppled some branches, they responded the next day to remove the fallen limbs. Very professional. Very easy to do business with. Very nice people .
We've used Barrett for everything from removal of entire trees, to trimming and removing large branches overhanging our property, to treating our trees and shrubs to keep them healthy. They're responsive, reliable, and never leave a mess behind. I've recommended them to several friends and neighbors and all of them have been pleased with the work done.
I have been using Barrett Tree East for at least 20 years, since the days when Trumbull Barrett himself would typically be on the crew. I always thought very highly of them, and have reviewed them before. My most recent experience exceeded my prior uniformly positive ones, and deserves its own write up. On 30…
Reliable and trustworthy professionals, impeccably competent and fair in all respects.
The crew from Barrett did an incredible job ensuring the safety of mine and my neighbors properties while removing 3 tall and troublesome trees. These trees were covering 3 different houses and when Barrett completed the work it was like they were never there at all. They took care in the planning process all the…
Came on time. Was very quick. Very efficient.
Very professional, efficient, cleaned-up better then we would have. Great crew!
Reliable. Easy to work with. We worked with them again in fall 2023 and they did excellent work.
Great customer service, experience, and professionalism. Happy to keep using Barrett to keep our trees healthy.
Excellent! These guys really know (and care) about what they're doing. We've had them remove, prune, and feed a variety of trees and shrubs; and they've always been thoughtful, conscientious, and on time. Grateful for the time given to our garden... and to educate us about how to care for it!
Update 05-31-23 (from ~one year ago): All of the same still applies. Barrett Tree's service and overall care is tremendous. I feel as confident now as I did two (or more) years ago to recommend them to a friend or a client. Original: Barrett Tree is truly tremendous, in every category. They helped us initially w/…
Te team worked very well together. Brock was very professional. Highly recommended.
Wonderful experience with Barrett Tree Service. We needed to remove two trees that were encroaching on the house foundation, along with tree triming. They gave us an accurate estimate and explanation of what access they would need. Team did the work efficiently and were very friendly, despite the pouring rain that…
Arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They did a nice job and cleaned up when done. I highly recommend them.
A tree and its stump needed to be removed in order to repair a fence. Barrett did a wonderful job. The tree was down quickly and the crew was very responsive. We will be using them for all of our future tree care needs.
Barrett Tree Service helped us with removing a declining Japanese Maple, and replanting a new one, along with removing and replacing a few shrubs. The team is very professional and highly skilled. I was very impressed watching them remove the old tree, root ball included! We will continue with their treatment…
Excellent and personable workers. The process of evaluation and estimation was very professional and informative. Work was done well with great cleanup and good communications. Highly Recommend!
My Aunt hired them to remove 4 large trees. The crew was friendly, professional and did a great job with cleanup.
Barrett Tree Service has always been very responsive, prompt and professional. Whether it is treating trees for aphids or mites, clearing trees or grinding stumps; things were done when they said it would be done and done well.
We hired Barrett Tree Service East for tree removal and planting services and they did an exceptional job. The work was completed efficiently, professionally, and on time. They helped us figure out the best solution for us in advance of the work and were communicative throughout the entire process. I would be glad…
Great job! Terrific crew and great result.
Great experience working with this company from start to finish. Offers insight into tree and shrub care, shows up at time agreed, cleans up thoroughly when finished. Also pleasant office staff and straightforward communication around estimates and billing. Highly recommend!
Great crew excellent job and cleanup. Couldn't be more satisfied.
They're a small business, limited manpower, so working with them requires a little patience. Sometimes they show up early, sometimes late, sometimes they'll need to reschedule. The reason to use these guys? Give 'em a chance to screw you, and they won't take it. The original job was to prune my neighbor's tree…
The tree removal team arrived early. They worked efficiently and were done quickly. The tree was removed, the stump was ground down and covered up. Everything was cleaned up. The driveway was swept (blown) clean. If you didn't know a tree had been there, you wouldn't be able to tell. My yard looks great.
We had Barrett Tree Service take a 60ft tree out of our back yard (over the roof) in charlestown with a large crane. The crew was very professional and did the job in less time than expected. Would 100% use them again.
The crew and other staff were all terrific and professional. Contacted me in advance, came at the planned time, answered a couple of my anxious questions and did a fine, fast job. It was also surprisingly quiet, since many small-diameter branches were taken off with hand saws rather than some roaring machine.
Barrett Tree Service is the best. Knowledgeable, responsive and reasonable. They're great both for long-time planning, and when you've got a tree down in your driveway. (We have several old trees on our property and have used them for both.) I never get the sense that they're trying to oversell me on services, and…
Very professional and knowledgeable team. Have used their services for years and plan to for the future.
Fantastic team. Really committed to saving trees, when possible. Walked me through our property's trees and made recommendations. Great communication and contact. Super professional. So glad to have found them!
My experience is positive in all the important ways: the person who made the sale and the crew who did the work exuded expertise and conscientiousness, while also being very pleasant. It would take a dramatic event to cause me to explore for an alternative service provider in the future. These are busy people, so start your booking process right away.
Very happy with Barrett Tree Service, would highly recommend this company.
The team worked efficiently together, pruning, cutting and cleaning up. I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome with regard to aesthetics and thoroughness.
Extremely responsive and capable team who know how to work in the CIty!
The guys were very nice, professional and courteous.
Professional, careful work
The skillful work crew was professional and completed everything requested. I have so much space in my yard now! 😊
Friendly, competent, I worked from home and was not bothered at all, clear about what they did. Altogether professional.
Knowledgable and professional, great job.
Work was exactly as estimated, staff personable and highly professional
Have used them several times before; this was biggest job -- removal of a HUGE maple tree that involved a crane. Very pleased with the work (and wasn't pleased to learn 2 days prior to original scheduled date, set 3+ months ago, that it had to be postponed) Would definitely recommend them.
The arborists could not have been more pleasant and efficient. The point person who came out to survey the job ahead of time was also extremely nice. We are very pleased with the results of the job, and I would not hesitate to recommend Barrett Tree Service. (They had been highly recommended to me by friends.)
Absolutely professional, top-notch work done by a great crew. I will continue to use Barrett Tree and recommend you do, too!
Barrett Tree Service East recently assisted us with the removal and transplant of trees in our yard. The team was professional, on time and did a great job on what appeared to be a rather challenging tree to remove. Even better, they left our yard and patio in great shape. You would almost never know they had been there! I would highly recommend them.
We've been using Barrett for the last couple of years for tree trimming and removal. Their service is exceptional, their work is beautiful and they always clean up after themselves. Highly recommended!
