Barrett Tree Service East

I love using these guys, and we've worked on two urban jobs, South Boston and Cambridge. They are not only excellent at their jobs, but the crew is professional, courteous, and thorough.

We have a very large tree that Barrett has cared for for years (and a much smaller one) and they always do an excellent job. That includes cabling needed several years ago, pruning as needed, and tree health and pest control treatments. Both the arborists and crews that do the work have been awesome to work with –… Read full review

The estimate was made promptly. The work was scheduled within days. The team of workers were skilled. This was the first time I used an arborist since I moved here from Oregon. I am very pleased and would gladly recommend Barrett Tree Service.

We have had Barrett Tree Service East keep our mature trees - some over 80 + year old healthy and trimmed for several years now. Ryan helped us rescue an 80 year old Japanese maple after a dry and extremely varied temperature winter. Barrett has also helped keep our 30 foot yews trimmed back so that their boughs… Read full review

Excellent workmanship and professionalism

This company was recommended to me as one that truly cares for trees, instead of just taking them down, which is what I was looking for. I have a few trees I've been wanting to get checked out to make sure they're doing ok, and Barrett Tree Services really came through. They came out to look at the property, talked… Read full review

As always, the Barrett crew was skillful, efficient & impressive in their removal of a large, dead spruce from my property. In a downpour no less!

Very responsive, knowledgeable and accommodating.

These folks have kept my trees strong and healthy for years. When a recent storm with hurricane force wind toppled some branches, they responded the next day to remove the fallen limbs. Very professional. Very easy to do business with. Very nice people .

We've used Barrett for everything from removal of entire trees, to trimming and removing large branches overhanging our property, to treating our trees and shrubs to keep them healthy. They're responsive, reliable, and never leave a mess behind. I've recommended them to several friends and neighbors and all of them have been pleased with the work done.

Am so glad I chose Barrett Tree Service - everyone, from the administrative staff to the arborist, was exceptional from start to finish! Hendrik, the arborist, was knowledgeable and patient in explaining what would be best for my trees' overall health and appearance. On the day of service, Zeke and his team were… Read full review
