Basement Gurus was exceptional. During the recent rain storms, we experienced flooding in our home. They came in and cleaned everything up and did a great job. There was no long term damage after they left. They were prompt, professional and affordable. Highly recommend.
Hired them for basement French drain project. The project was completed on time and hassle free. They arrived on time and did the job and after the job they cleaned the whole basement. I would highly recommend them for any kind of basement project.
Basement Gurus did a great job. They identified the issue with my basement that would flood with big rains and did not over-engineer the solution. It was very cost effective and the guys were great to have in the home. Highly recommend.
I called Basement Gurus because I had water seepage in the basement usually occuring after heavy rain. I was in process of getting the basement remodeled so this issue was very time sensitive since the contractor had to pause work until the seepage issue was resolved. Basement Gurus knew exactly what was causing the…
Very prompt. Got it done!
Great company to work with.
I’m thankful to have found Basement Gurus. We had water come into our basement when we had heavy rain and I didn’t know how to resolve the issue. I thought we’d have to dig around our entire foundation and seal all the foundation walls from outside but Basement Gurus took care of the problem from the inside and…
We felt mislead by sales and had difficulty with the contractors who Gurus hired to complete the job. They were “okay” at best. The customer service team was responsive and helped make things right but if I had the choice to do it again, knowing what I know, I would choose a different organization.
I had my basement waterproofed and I'm very happy with this investment. I no longer have to run down the basement when it rains hard and grab the vacuum and towels to soak up the water. The crew was efficient and now that the cement has dried I really appreciate the extent of the work performed. With all the cement…
Did an excellent job with our basement wall and did it efficiently and with very little clean up after.
Basement Gurus gave me a great price and did an awesome job to repair my interior wall leak in the basement. The area has not leaked since they repaired it. Very friendly and professional. Will definitely use them again in the future if I have any basement related repairs again.
Excellent job. Lots of dust but that was expected. Answered all my questions
Basement Gurus did an awesome job with my french drain. They were on schedule and on budget. I was not on site when they did the job but they sent pictures through out the day. I would highly recommend this company
Basement Guru did a superb job installing 2 sump pumps. I was amazed at how hard they worked & what was entailed to complete the job. I had a few concerns that I discussed with the owner Josh. Overall, it was a good job. Unfortunately, they dropped the ball with respect to the mold remediation. The mold remediation…
We had been getting some water in our basement during rain storms, which led to some moisture build up. Basement Guru’s came out and put two new sub pumps as well as a French drain all around the floor. We now get no moisture or water in the basement at all. They were done the job in two days which was much faster than we expected.
I took a chance when trying to find someone to do my basement by just searching a name! Best decision!! They not only made my basement waterproof, but they made it safe. Highly recommend
Josh gave us a quote today, and he did a fabulous job. He was very professional, informative, and kind. Josh clearly explained everything that would be done from start to finish including an actual demonstration with the products that would be used. He was a stand up guy. I totally trust him with the job. I am looking forward to the finished product.
I have just signed up with Basement Guru's to rectify a flooded basement. I was so impressed with John's presentation, time explaining the process of rough casting, French drains, and the sump pumping system that I had to sign up. Thank you, John, for being knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about your work. I…
Great people
From start to finish everything was great!! Josh came and did the initial inspection . Lorenzo and his team came to complete the job. Everything has been wonderful!! If you’re looking for things to be done the right way then look no further ! We had a terrible experience previously with our neighbor who had…
I had a drain and sub pump installed in my basement and it’s rained a lot since- no water at all! The workers were professional and polite. I received a very fair estimate and felt very comfortable proceeding with such a friendly and honest company. Plus, they were able to do the work the same week I got the…
This company and their staff… THE BEST in the business hands down!! This team of professionals assessed my need and provided the highest in top notch services I have had performed on any property I’ve ever owned. Wow , What a great company - I had two homes I needed waterproofed ASAP. They were prompt with their quote and came out within a week and completed both projects. The crew was awesome , cleaned up and made both homes fully waterproofed. The care for my houses that the crew leader had was amazing , kept me up to date…
I just want to express the great work, the professionalism and the expertise that Dylan and his crew delivered. Basement Gurus get 20+ stars from me. They were very informative from the beginning with the knowledge that Dan brought to the table when giving us the estimate. We just moved from NYC into our first home…
The guys were on time and got the work done in a timely manner.
I cannot express how grateful I am for the service that Basement Gurus provided. They are super professional, answered every question, the work and advice that they offer is exceptional and effective. My Basement used to be moldy, now we are averaging 40 to 45 humidity eliminating the mold issue completely. I can't thank them enough for their help.
My home was in need of waterproofing since the day I bought it a few years ago. Any time significant rainfall occurred I would get water in the first floor of my home. Basement Gurus performed the necessary work at a reasonable price and in a timely fashion. Also they guarantee the work/repair, which I can confirm…
Basement Gurus was great. They were the only company that was able to identify the source of my leak and were able to solve the issue to prevent it from reoccurring, all with a guarantee. Thanks!
When we needed our basement waterproofed in the fall we reached out to several places and they were all scheduled out too long for just estimates. Basement Guru's was able to come out the same day for the estimate and was even able to start work a week later. The job only took two days due to the thoroughness,…
We had a issue with water seeping into our basement from heavy rains for a few years. Finally decided to get it fixed and I am glad we used these guys! They came out and thoroughly explained the process before working. The team came out and were fully prepared and were knowledgeable. Our foundation is now set and no…
This team does good quality work. Fair price and great customer service.
My experience working with Basement Gurus, especially Phil Thistle, was fantastic. Phil and the crew were very thoughtful and responsive from the moment I called basement gurus until the moment my installation in my basement was complete. I greatly appreciated how dedicated Phil was in answering my questions and…
Basement Gurus is the best for your basement and waterproofing needs. Dan the owner is very personable and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. The process was seamless and quick. I had water damage in my garage that was running into my basement and Dan himself came out and did an assessment and came up a…
I worked with the Gurus who helped me when my home was in shambles My basement flooded and they came in at a great price and helped me and my family out. I couldn’t be more pleased
This company was great. When hiring contractors it often feels like trying to solve a mystery about everything from price, to timeline, to how to get them on the phone. Not the case with this company! Phil came out explained exactly what the coats would be for each piece of the job from repair through restoration…
Resolved all water damages I’ve had once and for all. Know the owner. Great quality and great service
Top quality company. A huge team of people arrived, they were working in like 10 minutes and I must say the best part was how well they had all the jobs organized. I think we counted about 16 people total, and everyone was doing their thing, no one was slacking. What others told us 3 days, they did in just one day,…
We had severe water damage in our basement, and it can be very stressful with the mold and smell with kids in the house. These guys came out and were very professional, and very quick getting the job done while not interrupting our “work from home” routines.
Revising my review now that my basement waterproofing project has been completed. I cannot provide a 5-star rating as I previously assumed. PRO: For installing an interior French drain, while it was pouring rain outside, the crew was extremely clean. Both my yard and interior of my house was left with only minor…
