I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Basil Place! Our wedding venue was absolutely breathtaking, and I genuinely believe it is one of the most beautiful and unique wedding venues in the Cleveland area! One of the things that made our wedding so special was being able to stay at the venue Thursday and Friday night with our entire bridal party. Having everyone together for the entire weekend made the experience so much more memorable. We were able to celebrate with our closest friends and family for days rather than just a few hours on our wedding day! The property had absolutely everything we could have possibly needed, which made the entire weekend so convenient and stress-free. Michele and Bill were incredible hosts! They were so accommodating, welcoming, and genuinely kind throughout the entire experience. They truly made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Just to give you an idea of how thoughtful they are, we didn’t have enough room in our car for the top tier of our wedding cake when we were packing up to leave. Michele was kind enough to take it home with her and keep it for us until we could come pick it up another day! It’s little things like that that show how much they genuinely care about their couples and making their experience special. The venue itself is absolutely STUNNING. Every corner of the property is beautiful, and it was the perfect setting for our wedding weekend. So many of our guests posted photos of the gorgeous sunset the night of our wedding. We received so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was! I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Being able to spend an entire weekend celebrating with the people we love most was something we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Cleveland area, I cannot recommend Basil Place enough!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue for our wedding! From the moment we toured Basil Place Manor with Michelle, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The property is absolutely stunning, and the renovations have done such a beautiful job bringing the space to life. We loved the manor’s overall charm and elegance, and it was the perfect setting for the wedding we had envisioned. Michelle and her team were very easy to communicate with and genuinely cared about our wedding and making sure everything came together. That level of care made the experience even more special. We are so grateful we chose Basil Place Manor for our wedding and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful and memorable venue for their special day!

To say Basil Place was the wedding venue of my childhood dreams would be an understatement. My husband and I had the privilege of having our wedding at BP in July 2026 and left wondering how we got so lucky. It has everything you could ever want - lush views, a dreamy garden, easily accessible wedding venue spaces, rescue animals, AC for the hot summer days, and a 5 star team running the show who love what they do. The entire process was a fairytale and we get emotional just thinking about it. Michelle and her family team were some of the warmest and friendly people we have ever had the honor of working with. In the months leading up to the wedding, we knew we could reach out to Michelle any time and ask her any questions. She was always genuinely happy to help out. They have a great relationship with their exclusive catering team from A Taste of Excellence and bartending team from Thirsty Filly. They all had a working system together that was fun to work with and created a perfectly seamless flow lasting all the way through the end of the dance party. Not to mention, Rachel (our wedding coordinator) from With Love, Wedding Planning is also incredibly friendly with the venue. She was personally recommended to us by Michelle. Every vendor we worked with shared how Basil Place was one of their favorite venues to work with. To those who love a good photo/video - BP is a photographer/videographer’s playground. Michelle and her team knew exactly what they were doing when designing all of the spaces. We will not only remember the beauty of Basil Place, but how Michelle and her team made us feel. We can say with 100% confidence that our wedding at Basil Place will remain one of the greatest memories of our lives. Thank you BP for being so magical. We recommend every possible thing about it!

Basil Place was nothing short of amazing! We absolutely loved the location and had the most beautiful, unforgettable wedding day. The venue itself is stunning, and what truly made our experience so special was the incredible team behind it. From the very beginning, everyone was so warm, welcoming, and attentive. They were always quick to answer our questions, incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and made us feel like we were truly part of the Basil Place family. Their care and attention to detail made planning our wedding feel so much easier and more enjoyable. Basil Place was the most amazing venue for our wedding. We knew immediately once touring the venue that we had to have our wedding here! Michelle and all of the staff was extremely accommodating, answering all of our questions around the clock being so kind and so generous with their time. They are so organized and very transparent on pricing and timelines. The venue grounds are extremely stunning and well kept— all of our guests were blown away. Every inch of the property is gorgeous! The preferred vendors that were recommended to work with for Basil Place made our day even better than we could have imagined and were a great extension of the Basil Place team. This was truly the best, most unforgettable day and it would not have been the same without being at Basil Place!

Basil Place is an absolute dream of a wedding venue, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience! First and foremost, Michelle, the owner, is beyond amazing to work with. She is incredibly sweet, friendly, and made the entire process feel seamless and welcoming from day one. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the landscaping is pristine and immaculate. What makes this venue so incredibly special is how beautifully the day can flow across the different spaces. We were able to host our ceremony outside on the stunning patio of the manor, hold the cocktail hour in the beautiful manor gardens, and then move up the hill to the newly renovated Event Center for an unforgettable reception. Our guests could not stop talking about how stunning and unique the entire venue was. Another huge highlight for us was booking the overnight stay package. Being able to stay the night in the beautiful manor with our family and friends was so incredibly special. Plus, my daughter and her new husband were able to use the charming Carriage House for their honeymoon night, which was the perfect ending to a perfect day. If you are looking for a breathtaking, versatile, and expertly run venue for your big day, Basil Place is it. My daughter had dreamed of a destination wedding and your venue gave us that plus a relaxing retreat for the rehearsal and reception! I was able to enjoy the weekend without all the stress of wedding setup etc. The weather was beautiful, your venue is beautiful and the food was fantastic. We could not have asked for anything more.

Absolutely gorgeous venue. Helpful friendly staff. Modern decor. If you want a country feel, with nature inspired surroundings, I highly recommend this location. Perfect for weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and any other type of gathering.

If you are looking for a wedding venue that feels like pure magic from start to finish, Basil Place is it! We got married here in April 2026, and I truly don’t have enough words to capture how special this place—and the people behind it—are. Michelle, the owner, is quite simply an angel of a human. From day one, she was by our side through every step of the process. She doesn’t just care about your wedding day—she cares about you as a person and wants you to genuinely soak in and enjoy every single moment. Her presence is calming, supportive, and incredibly thoughtful, and it made all the difference. She was so flexible and available whenever needed. She knows what she is doing and this is truly a passion and something her entire family seems to put their heart and soul into. One thing that really stood out is that Michelle only works with vendors who share her same vision and level of care. Every recommendation she provided—from catering to bartending—was absolutely top notch. It removed so much stress knowing we were in the best hands with people that knew the venue well and didn't rely on us for information. We booked the full weekend package, and I cannot recommend it enough (sure the price might shock you a bit at first, but it ultimately ended up saving us money and alot of stress due to lodging of family, ourselves and rehearsal dinner space all being in one place). Being able to host our rehearsal dinner on-site Friday night while already soaking in the beautiful grounds set the tone for the entire weekend. Even more special, our parents and siblings stayed in the house with us, which made everything feel intimate, easy, and so meaningful. The morning of the wedding was something I’ll never forget—while the girls were up early getting ready in the bridal suite, we kept looking outside at everyone else relaxing by the lake with coffee, thinking “must be nice :)” It truly felt like a retreat with the people we love most and I didn't think I would be able to get something like this in Ohio... but then Michelle came along and proved me wrong :) Basil Place gave us not just a wedding day, but an entire experience we’ll cherish forever. If you want a venue where you feel supported, cared for, and completely present for your wedding, this is the place. We are endlessly grateful to the entire staff for helping us start our lives in such a special way!

The venue speaks for itself: it is absolutely beautiful from the manor house to the event center and all the landscaping is unlike any other wedding venue I have been to. Above all, Michelle made planning and coordinating so easy. She was quick to respond and so accommodating. I am so grateful to Basil Place for making our wedding day so beautiful and a night to never forget!
