My experience here was horrible!! I took my daughter here years ago and she was taken off camera, in a blind spot during nap time... the worker pulled my daughtershair and put the covers over my daughter's nose... I called the police and the owner defended the worker... place is trash. Beware and be sure your kiddos can communicate. Can't trust ppl smh

We are genuinely sorry to hear about the experience you described involving your daughter. We understand how upsetting and concerning such an experience would be for any parent.
However, we would like to clarify one very important point for you and for the families reading this review.
As you mentioned, this experience occurred many years ago. Since our family purchased Bluebonnet Learning Center and took over its operations, no such incident has ever occurred under our ownership or management. While we cannot comment on what may or may not have happened before we took ownership, we can confidently speak to the standards we have maintained and the care we have provided since then.
For the past five years, our family has personally managed the center, maintaining a daily presence and making the safety, happiness, and well-being of every child our highest priorities.
We are also proud to hold Texas Rising Star Four-Star certification, the highest quality rating awarded by the program. Our center is subject to regular state licensing inspections and independent quality assessments.
We respectfully ask families to distinguish an experience described as having occurred many years ago from the center we operate under our management today.

We’ve been really happy with this daycare. The staff are very caring and attentive with our toddler, and you can tell they genuinely care about the kids. We also really appreciate that they’re affordable compared to other daycare options. One thing we really love is the app they use to send us pictures and updates throughout the day. It’s super convenient and we love being able to see what our little one is up to while we’re at work. We’ve had a wonderful experience with Bluebonnets Learning Center. Our twins genuinely enjoy going to school every day, and as parents, that means a lot to us. The teachers are experienced, caring and attentive, and you can tell they truly know and understand the children in their care. I attended an event organized by the school for Father’s Day which gave me an opportunity to interact with the teachers and other parents.
What really stands out to me is the warm, family-oriented environment. Our children have become more confident, are learning a lot, and always have something exciting to tell us about their day. The school also does a great job creating fun activities and events that make the children excited about being there.
Bluebonnets really feels like a hidden gem. We’re very happy we found it and would absolutely recommend it to other families.

I genuinely cannot speak highly enough about Blue Bonnet Learning Center. And I don't say that lightly.
As a mother, one of the hardest things for me is trusting other people with my children. These aren't just people watching our kids while we're away. For hours every day, they are caring for them, teaching them, comforting them, correcting them, encouraging them, and helping shape some of their earliest experiences outside of home. That matters tremendously to me.
So when I say that I can drop my daughter off at Blue Bonnet and leave without second-guessing whether she is safe, loved, cared for, or learning, that is probably the highest compliment I can give a childcare center.
Both of my daughters have attended Blue Bonnet. My oldest attended before starting kindergarten, and my youngest is there now. One of the things I love most about Blue Bonnet is that it is a smaller center. There is an intimacy to it that I truly appreciate. My children aren't just another name on a roster. The teachers know them, know their personalities, and genuinely build relationships with them.
And the teachers... I wish I could put them in
my pocket and take them everywhere my children go.
Ms. Ahmal was my oldest daughter's teacher, and the love and care she gave my daughter meant more to me than I can adequately put into words. Kali is in kindergarten now and still misses her. To me, that says everything. Children remember the people who make them feel safe, seen, and loved.
My youngest received that same kind of care from Ms. Sharifa when she was in the twos. Ms. Sharifa took such wonderful care of my baby. And I want to be clear, every teacher in the two's is amazing! Now that she has moved into the threes, she is with Mrs. Susan and Mrs. Doha, and once again, I feel incredibly fortunate. There is a sincerity about these women that you can feel. I see it in how they greet my daughter, how they interact with her, and how she responds to them. Their affection for these children doesn't feel forced or performative. It feels genuine. From the moment you enter this daycare you are greeted with a smile. EVERY SINGLE WOMAN that works here deserves flowers every day of the week. They are the most beautiful women I've ever met. Although I don't remember everybody's names, I do know their faces. You couldn't ask for a better group of women!
I also love that Blue Bonnet doesn't treat the day as simply something to fill until parents return. The children are learning. I receive updates and pictures throughout the day showing what my daughter is doing and, even better, what those activities are actually teaching her. They're working on things like fine-motor skills, coordination, persistence, shapes and patterns, visual art, spatial understanding, imaginative play, and so much more. Something that may look like threading beads or matching buttons is connected to an actual developmental skill. As a parent, I LOVE seeing that.
The communication, pictures, activities, teachers, and willingness to work with parents all matter. But what makes Blue Bonnet special to me is the care behind all of it.
There are plenty of places where you can enroll a child. Finding somewhere you genuinely feel at peace leaving your child is different.
I cannot speak for every childcare center in Richardson because I haven't experienced every childcare center in Richardson. I can speak for this one. Blue Bonnet has cared for two of my babies, through different ages, classrooms, and teachers, and my experience has consistently been one of love, patience, learning, communication, and genuine care.
If you are a parent like me who does not take lightly who you entrust your children to, I absolutely recommend giving Blue Bonnet Learning Center a chance. I don't think you'll just find people to watch your child. I think you'll find people who will know them, teach them, care about them, and become part of their story. Five stars just isn't enough for what these ladies do.
