I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and organization at the Secaucus location. Yesterday, an employee scheduled my lash appointment for 7:00 AM, and the appointment was fully confirmed. However, I later received a phone call informing me that my appointment had to be canceled because the employee had made a scheduling error and the location does not actually offer appointments at that time. What I find particularly unacceptable is that this business requires customers to provide credit card information and enforces cancellation fees, yet does not seem to hold itself to the same standards of accountability when mistakes are made on its end. Customers’ time is valuable and deserves to be respected. I made arrangements based on a confirmed appointment, only to have it canceled due to an internal error that should have been prevented. A business that expects customers to follow strict booking and cancellation policies should demonstrate the same level of professionalism, responsibility, and consideration in return. This experience was disappointing, inconvenient, and entirely avoidable. I would not recommend this location based on the poor communication and lack of professionalism I experienced.
Hi Nicole, We sincerely apologize for the scheduling error and the inconvenience it caused. A glitch in our Vagaro booking software incorrectly displayed and confirmed a 7:00 AM appointment, although our Secaucus location opens at 9:00 AM. We recognize that you made arrangements around that confirmation, and we take responsibility for the disruption to your plans. Once we discovered the error, Angela called and followed up by text to offer alternative days and times, including a special Sunday appointment. We understand those efforts do not undo the inconvenience, and your concerns about respecting customers’ time and maintaining accountability are fair. We apologize again and would appreciate the opportunity to make this right. Angela did reach out to you to try and give you options. If you have a change of mind please contact Angela directly at [email protected] or directly at the number reached out at so we can personally coordinate a future appointment that works for you. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience .

Jess at Bonded Lash Bar in Secaucus is the best! I've been going to her since her days as the owner of The Wax Coast, and I'm so happy to see her continue to grow with Bonded Lash Bar! I originally came to Jess about 9-10 years ago (to this day she is the ONLY person I ever let wax me) with very thin, shapeless eyebrows. Since then, my eyebrows have completely transformed! They're now thick and beautifully shaped, all thanks to her. I also get body waxing done by Jess, and it's always a positive experience. She's gentle yet precise, and always makes me feel comfortable. I don't consistently get lash lifts and tints, but whenever I do, Jess is my go-to girl! Again, gentle, precise, and always efficient. Beyond her talent and work ethic, what truly sets Jess apart is who she is as a person. She's humble, funny, relatable, and genuinely kind. She's the type of person you instantly adore and look forward to seeing at every appointment. I even bring my 80 year old aunt to Jess to get her eyebrows tinted, and seeing the way Jess treats her with such care, patience, and kindness, and how accommodating she is to her, makes me appreciate her even more.
