Wow. I was so blown away by the staff, the doctor, how she met my sweet pup with such care and gentleness. This was our first vet visit for my rescue and I am just so happy that Cabrillo Pet Hospital is our team helping my pup adjust, heal internally and live her best life!
The staff here is wonderful and caring. They always greet my dog (and me, too!) enthusiastically and clearly have a great relationship with him. He's been going here for daycare and boarding for over 2 years and LOVES it!! He starts getting excited when we drive down the street, so he must have a fantastic time…

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff
The staff here is wonderful and caring. They always greet my dog (and me, too!) enthusiastically and clearly have a great relationship with him. He's been going here for daycare and boarding for over 2 years and LOVES it!! He starts getting excited when we drive down the street, so he must have a fantastic time there. He's exhausted afterward - I can always count on him napping for a couple of hours after we get home! If I need to add some grooming to his visit, the staff can trim nails, give him a bath, etc. and there's also food, treats, and supplies available for purchase. The location is super convenient, with dedicated parking too.

While the facility itself was nice and the staff and Veterinarian were professional and competent, I cannot recommend Cabrillo Pet Hospital if you are looking for travel documents. First, the travel certificate had an error on the date indicating it had been signed 20 days prior and was not accepted by the airlines for travel. Second, the screw worm certificate was not accepted because the airline stated that the vet did not have the proper certification to be accepted by Mexican authorities. As all of this was discovered after having crossed CBX to Tijuana on a Sunday, we had to run around TJ to find an open vet willing to prepare the required documentation and take a later flight with significant expense and stress having already paid $200 for the travel documents from Cabrillo. I emailed Cabrillo Pet Hospital and submitted a feedback form and have yet to hear back from them.
Very welcoming environment. I was helped right away. The technician was very caring and was the Dr. He answered my "20 questions", very well.
