Excellent personable service.
I can’t recommend this shop enough! They’ve done several repairs on my car, including replacing my transmission, and every experience has been excellent. Their prices are hard to beat, and they’re honest, reliable, and truly care about their customers. They’ve also gone out of their way to fit my car into their…

I was driving my car and when I went to park, the gear wouldn’t shift into park. I drove my car home but had to put it in neutral to turn off my car and put the emergency brake on over night. I was referred to Capital Transmission by Midas. I called and was told to bring my car in. Brian called me to tell me he was…
I've been to Capitol multiple times over the years for clutch replacement/repair and other manual transmission woes. They've always taken good care of me and my vehicle.
Did a great job sourcing a used differential for my BMW and of course followed that with a perfect install. Higher recommended
The team at Capitol Transmission were amazing. When the transmission light on my car turned on another shop wasn't able to see my car for a month. I called Capitol Transmission and they were able to check my car and fix it up within a week of me calling. The team were great at communicating about any fixes my car…
I took my sons vehicle for a second opinion after being told that he would need a new transmission. Brian and Paul were excellent in getting me in quickly and diagnosing the issue. It turned out the car did not need a new transmission, just some wires that were not reattached after a previous service. The…
I had a great experience with Capitol Transmission and would recommend their services to anyone. I brought in my Nissan with what I thought was a broken transmission, but after they took a look they told me it was just a damage transmision pan. They replaced the part quickly and for a very fair price. The owner was…
As soon as you walk into Capitol Transmission you know you are working with professionals who are honest. They are smart, friendly, and very much know transmissions. In my case, the found that no repair was needed and did not charge me for the diagnosis. I strongly recommend Capitol Transmission.

Very professional, very friendly, and accommodating. I needed transportation while my car was being repaired and they provided a loaner car. Work was done to my complete satisfaction
They were very kind and professional. Answered all my questions regarding the warranty on the actual part. It took me days to notice but they pulled out a dent in my bumper making it look as if it never happened.
These guys are AWESOME!. After bringing my Wife's Honda to Liberty Honda with a transmission issue, they said it needs a new transmission, Didn't believe them, had it towed here, missing clips for the transmission lines and filled it up, was just a fluid leak fix, no charge. Save money and aggravation, Go here, not the dealership.
My rebuilt transmission is better than the original, car is running great and very smooth, thank you Capitol Transmission!!
