Dog grooming is expe size these days and we have a miniature poodle so it gets costly because he matts (even with brushing) if we wait too long. The full groom is consistently good including ears and nails!
Lorrie, the head groomer, was amazing. We have used her every time to get our dog groomed and it is always exceptional service, communication, and execution. We really appreciate all Central Bark and Lorrie does.
Kind staff, assistant manager was very helpful. Space is very clean. Will visit again!
This was a big head blow. We drive from Detroit to meet family at Polish festival. Prior communication explain 6 pound dog is rescue undergoing social training. Absolutely fantastic facility and crew. Whoever takes the photos and puts them on Facebook deserves a raise, that was half the reason we kept bringing our dog back! And the staff was so nice and on top of everything, five stars over and over again!
My two dogs briefly attended after their other doggie daycare closed. After each visit, the dogs sprint to their water bowls at home. They’ve never done this in years of day care. I warned that this was discussed. Insisting they remove harness in the back. As warned, dog became protective to strangers. Refused boarding. I offered to place dog in cage. Not allowed. It was previously discussed that was option. As a 2 decade trainer I warn that Saturday staff is incompetent and ununderstanding.

We're also sorry if there was any misunderstanding regarding the check-in process or our boarding requirements. The safety of our dogs and staff is always our top priority. While we do our best to accommodate each dog's individual needs, every dog must be safely handled at check-in before we can accept them for boarding. If we aren't able to do so, we may have to make the difficult decision to decline the stay. We appreciate your feedback and wish you and your pup all the best.

I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. *update* I couldn’t respond in another message so I’ll do so here. The service claims the dogs have adequate access to water but omits that the dogs are crated for a full half of their day at the small shop and do not have access to water during that time e whatsoever. Anyone who cares about their dog should find an adequately equipped service where there dogs won’t be abused through neglect.

I cannot recommend a doggie daycare more highly than Central Bark Downtown. We sent our puppy Paul to CBDT practically every week from when we first adopted him at six months, till just last week, when he passed away at the age of 12. The staff has always been caring, and thoughtful. Paul loved his time there, and barked enthusiastically with joy each time we arrived. We had complete peace of mind when he was there, as they took care of his as well as if he was their own. Thanks to all the staff for taking such good care of our Pauly. You all were a very important part of his life!

I appreciate the care they give by making sure your pet has all vaccinations and is healthy, but we had to explain how to read our vet’s invoice. They were unable to look at the 2nd page and I had to call to explain. The bed we took with Healy was returned with a broken zipper, that needs to be replaced, with no explanation or discount, plus we had to ask for it to be returned. When we arrived to pick her up we had to wait in line for quite some time to retrieve her. We assume Healy had lots of fun, because she slept all day and night after picking her up and seemed very happy. But the little knit-picky things annoyed me. I would probably book again though if we are back in Milwaukee.
