Do not go here for any alterations. They did had a horrible job altering my granddaughters prom dress. Never going back here again. I don’t mind paying for alterations but to pay $300 for what did is unacceptable. Zero stars.

Your granddaughter’s prom dress was one of the largest and most complex formal dresses we have worked on in over 20 years, including four separate layers of lining. During the fitting, I clearly asked your daughter twice whether she wanted all four linings altered. She specifically told me it was not necessary, explaining that because the dress is very full and formal, the inner linings would not be visible even if they were longer.
Based on your daughter’s decision, we proceeded exactly as requested. I did recommend altering all layers for the best result, but she declined, and we respected her choice.
Alma Rackard, the two inner linings mentioned in your review are exactly the parts your daughter chose not to have altered. At the same time, you acknowledged that the shoulders, side seams, and overall fit were done well. It is also important to note that the photos shared only show the areas that were not requested for alteration, and do not reflect the parts that you yourself acknowledged were done well.
Measuring and fitting this dress alone took about 30 minutes, which reflects how large and detailed the garment was. We carefully followed the instructions given and completed the work accordingly.
Alma Rackard, the $300 charge includes six different alteration services, pressing, and tax. Our tailor spent a significant amount of time on this dress, and I would like to emphasize again that this was not a simple alteration.
