I'm pretty particular about what goes on my skin. I lean more holistic and wellness-focused and prefer cleaner products, so finding an esthetician who understands that has been very exciting. Sara has quickly become my go-to. I've only seen her a few times, but I've already learned so much from her.
Sara knows her products inside and out, and she took the time to walk me through the products at Colair that fit my interests and needs. They were brands I'd never heard of, but I noticed a difference right away. At my first brow wax, she sent me home with samples for post-wax redness and a few blemishes near my brows. She also pointed out that the blemishes weren't from the castor oil I was using to grow my brows back, but from how much I was putting on, and showed me how to brush it on lightly instead. Small tweaks, but they made a real difference.
What I appreciated just as much was her honesty. Even before that first appointment, Sara knew I was interested in a Brazilian wax. Instead of simply booking it, she suggested I consider laser for that area and offered to pass my information along to Sage. I'd done laser in California a few years ago and was disappointed. It was expensive, and the hair eventually grew back. But the pricing here was very reasonable, so I gave her the green light.
I love the teamwork between Sara and Sage. Sage called me for a 15-minute consultation, explained everything in detail, and answered all my questions. I went in the day after my brow appointment for a simple and surprisingly thorough Brazilian laser treatment. It's been almost two months since that first session, and I've seen very little regrowth. I'm so impressed that I'm already planning to do my underarms and lower legs, and it will save me a lot on waxing in the long run. I don't think many people realize laser is offered at Colair, and it's worth looking into.
I came back for my second brow wax the day before Halloween, and the whole staff was so festive and into it, which made the visit extra fun. While I was browsing products up front, the front desk team gave me great recommendations, too. I wish I'd caught their names! I left with a hair product I hadn't planned on buying and used it this weekend for family photos. Even my mom was surprised when she touched my hair and said she'd never seen it so soft, and that was after using the product just once.
It's clear that everyone at Colair is passionate about what they do. More than anything, my visits with Sara have inspired me to put a little more time and care into myself. She has a way of helping you see yourself differently, and I'm grateful for that. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Sara, Sage and the whole team!
