Companion Pet Lodge, thank you thank you thank you for always taking such great care of Babycakes. We know she’s a handful, but despite that you give her just as much love as we do. We couldn’t ask for a better ‘home away from home’ for her.

Wonderful staff!! Easy to book your appointment on line with the groomer of your choice! We followed our groomer Izzy here from Earthwise that sadly closed. Prices are great and comparable to what we were paying.
This place is amazing!!! I went to look around and found that they were very organized. There were 60+ boarding rooms for each pet. There was also a dog groomer who showed so much patience and tenderness while grooming the puppy. I would totally bring my pet here. Thanks to Bill for showing me around.

A great place to take your pooch!
I’ve had my dog Louie boarded 3x at this place and none of them were great. The last one was by far the worst. The first time was for an overnight since I work nights and had overtime that I couldn’t get out of. He was so stressed from the stay that he slept for 2 full days. The second time was for a weekend. I was able to view his kennel camera during the evening and it showed he had peed all over the kennel bc he had access to water during the night while he was highly stressed still. When I had retrieved him, he was coated in dried urine. This last time, I scheduled a grooming for a de-shedding bath and nail trim. I also included a note on the reservation to take the water bowl away after they take him out the last time for the evening so he wouldn’t pee himself as much when he gets stressed again. That didn’t happen and he peed as much as the last time. The de-shedding bath was also a lie bc he has the same amount of shed from before I had dropped him off. And to top it all off, they had to hunt for his collar when I went to pick him up and neglected to put his prescription meds back in the bag I left with them for him. Those are seizure prevention meds and need to be taken on schedule or he will have another one. He’s also been so stressed that he hasn’t gotten up to do anything since we got home. Not go potty, not get food/water. Nothing. This is not an environment you’d want to keep your pets, especially if they’re susceptible to stress. It also doesn’t help that the place smells like constant dog pee, so it shows they aren’t taking the dogs out to go potty when they should be. They just keep mop buckets in the play areas and a hose outside so they can just dilute the mess instead of actually clean and sanitize it. This will be the last time I have him boarded here. Edit: I was able to find his medicine, but they had put it inside of his pill-pocket treat bag with no one notifying me that it was done. When I called, left a voicemail, they had called back and left a voicemail with the wrong dog’s name listed and that he had no medicine brought with him. They also called back again to let me know they had in fact placed it in his treat bag, but my opinion still remains unchanged. I’m not bringing him back.

I can’t say enough good things about Companion Pet Lodge! I travel for work and had to bring my 1 year old golden, Rye, with me this trip. She’s very social, loves to play, wrestle and gets along with every dog she meets. She is however very timid to start and takes time to warm up. After a not so great introduction at camp bow wow that left me pretty overwhelmed, I came to Companion in a pinch. The staff were all beyond friendly, gave me a tour, and worked with Rye slowly and even individually every day until she gained the confidence to play in the group room on her own. They even texted me updates on how she was doing which eased my anxiety greatly being away at work all day. She now LOVES going and plays so much with the other dogs when I’m checking on the playroom cameras. I will be bringing her here everytime I travel to the area now. I would recommend this business to anyone! 10/10 experience!

Couldn't applaud this facility more! They are fantastic care givers and treat your fur family as their own! If you need day or overnight care for your pet, this is the place! The webcams are great for checking in on your pet while you're away and they send you occasional photos as well. Our doggy was a very high anxiety dog and we were nervous to board him but he always did phenomenal in the care of companion pet lodge. He was so excited to go when we'd drop him off!
