From a Kitchen Emergency to Beautiful Countertops and New Friends!
I’ll be the first to admit that when I pulled up to CounterStone on Monday, I was a little skeptical based on the exterior. My mother would be disappointed in me for judging a book by its cover! But I was already there, so I figured it couldn’t hurt to look. WOW, am I glad I walked through those doors!
I was in the middle of a kitchen remodel and planned to reuse my old countertops until I could save for new ones. Unfortunately, once my new cabinets were installed, I discovered the existing sink cutout no longer lined up with the plumbing. Suddenly, my carefully budgeted remodel became a kitchen emergency!
As a single mom on a tight budget and an even tighter timeline, I desperately needed my kitchen back. No mom wants to order takeout every night for weeks while waiting for countertops!
I had already contacted several companies, all quoting installation timelines of 7–9 WEEKS. I was starting to lose hope.
Enter Crystal and Joe, who absolutely understood the assignment!
I explained my situation, budget, and how important it was to have a functioning kitchen again. They didn’t just hear me; they genuinely listened and cared. They helped me find beautiful countertops within my price range and creatively used every last inch of available remnant material to make my layout work.
Despite their packed fabrication and installation schedules, they found a way to accommodate me. They estimated about a week and delivered even sooner than expected!
From measuring to fabrication to installation, my entire project was completed within SEVEN DAYS! Yes, DAYS, not weeks!
And the quality? Absolutely stunning!
Because my countertops required joining two remnant pieces, I was especially impressed with the seam work. The craftsmanship is incredible! The finished countertops brighten my entire kitchen and tie my remodel together beautifully.
The professionalism and kindness extended well beyond the showroom. Everyone involved in measuring and installation showed the same respect, attention to detail, and genuine customer care. Their warranty also provides wonderful peace of mind.
CounterStone offers a great variety of styles, materials, designs, and price points. Their showroom also features an assortment of sinks, from single to double bowl and stone to stainless steel.
But here’s what impressed me most.
I walked into CounterStone feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, and honestly a little desperate. By the time my project was finished, Crystal stopped by to pick up the sign from my front yard—and left with a hug.
That moment says more about this company than any advertisement ever could.
I wasn’t treated like another invoice, installation, or customer being told to wait nine weeks. I was treated like a friend or family member whose circumstances genuinely mattered.
It’s rare to find a business that combines exceptional craftsmanship, fair pricing, remarkable turnaround times, and truly personal service. Crystal and Joe delivered all of that and more.
I walked in hoping to find affordable countertops and walked away with a beautiful, functioning kitchen, an incredible experience, and what feels like a couple of new friends.
I’m unbelievably grateful I stumbled across CounterStone that Monday. They turned a stressful situation into one of the highlights of my kitchen remodel!
If you’re shopping for countertops, do yourself a favor and visit CounterStone. Don’t judge this book by its cover, because what’s inside is something special!
