Customers frequently cite fast delivery, helpful staff, and competitive pricing for stone, mulch, and topsoil. Recurring themes include quick response times and friendly service during both self-service visits and deliveries. The primary criticism involves communication issues, specifically unreturned phone calls and a delivery complication regarding power lines that required a different truck.

I called and asked for 10 yards of top soil. They delivered within two hours and their delivery charge was very reasonable! We will definitely be going to them again when we need our next delivery of stone.
Excellent experience working with the folks at Fonfarek. Within two minutes of pulling up, staff were already approaching my car to see what I was looking for. More staff came by as I drove through the grounds, all very helpful with answering questions. I ended up buying three yards of garden soil for raised beds.…

What an amazing establishment and crest. I have a love and fascination with rocks. I was blown away by the hospitality and quality of their service and product. I could spend hours here. So many amazing peices that emminate such love, energy and vitality. Seriously Bravo. They are the PLUG. I came here at the end of season and could hardly stand up. I can only imagine spring time once they get to redrop the bag. Also this matters and thats the quality of the conversation and the enthusiasm their employees greet you with. Im tickled pink with what we worked out and how like I actually had to say okay I have to leave now but I could have stayed and talked for hours about the rocks. They also have a very cool property and set up. Its good ole small town Americana to a T. Im so grateful for them and the new found bound over rocks we forged. Cheers!
Thank you for your outstanding remarks about our business and employees. At Fonferek Stone customers are treated like family and we enjoy helping customers with their projects, big or small. We look forward to helping you again. Thank you!
I called and asked for 10 yards of top soil. I expressed to them that I had some concerns about electric lines running over where I needed the soil delivered too and she said they would be able to figure it out. After talking to her I felt comfortable with them being able to make it happen. But when they showed up he said they couldn't dump because of the lines and had to bring a smaller dump truck to make it work but it will take 2 trips, which was fine but they charged me the $40 delivery fee 3 times ($120 + cost of soil). I understand charging me for the 2 trips out but to charge for the initial $40 delivery fee to come out and tell me they couldn't dump when I told them my concerns prior to them coming out makes no sense to me. They made a mistake and made me pay for it
Hello Doug, I apologize for the misunderstanding. Upon arrival the driver had seen there was no way to unload and that it would require two small truck loads. The driver informed you of the cost of that and you agreed to the total cost. You are not obligated to pay unless you agree to the total cost. Upon agreeing to the cost we immediately prepared your new order and sent it out right away. Customer service is a top priority and we helped you as much as we could. Thank you for your understanding.
They delivered within two hours and their delivery charge was very reasonable! We will definitely be going to them again when we need our next delivery of stone.
Thanks for the good word Steph. Glad to hear our employees were taking good care of you!
Excellent experience working with the folks at Fonfarek. Within two minutes of pulling up, staff were already approaching my car to see what I was looking for. More staff came by as I drove through the grounds, all very helpful with answering questions. I ended up buying three yards of garden soil for raised beds. Very nice quality soil, with minimal non-organic refuse. They were willing to drive right onto my property to deliver it where I needed it - I just had to sign a quick waiver for incidental lawn damage. The delivery went smoothly and they were careful not to put extra stress on the lawn with their truck. All of the stone supply looked top quality. I look forward to returning here in the future.
Thanks JM for coming out and letting us help you with your gardens. Always a pleasure doing business with great customers like you!
