We ordered cabinets 5 months early specifically to avoid problems and delays. A snowstorm hit just before installation date, and we gave Hunter (the owner) full grace on weather delays — that's fair. What followed was not. Hunter made five separate commitments on completion dates. He missed every single one. Not close misses — broken promises. No shows. Partial installs. On one visit, we learned that the vent hood hadn’t been ordered (again, they had 5 months). It became clear that they were completely unprepared. The problems got worse after installation. Issues with paint quality, a cabinet installed upside down, trim work with very visible gaps, incorrectly installed inserts, shelf holes that were not level, they didn’t even measure the range opening correctly. These are just a few examples; the full list is absurdly long. These are very basic mistakes that a competent installer wouldn’t make. Due exclusively to cabinet delays, our relatively simple 6-week remodel turned into 11 weeks. We thought we were hiring a professional cabinet company, but what we got was a very expensive babysitting job. Take your money and sanity elsewhere.
Steve, Carl and Jimmy are a terrific team! Very professional and excellent quality/work! Definitely will use them again.
We couldn’t recommend Designer Cabinets more. As an interior designer, we like working with them for MANY reasons! They’re communicative, skilled, and punctual. Steve and Carl always go out of their way to make sure each project is handled with consideration. The cabinets are always amazing quality and the paint job is perfection! Call them! You will NOT be disappointed!
