I brought my car to Dorso's Automotive Repair for scheduled maintenance today, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff here are incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely care about their customers. What impressed me the most was their digital inspection report after the service. To be completely honest, it was far more thorough and professional than any dealership (4S) report I’ve received in the past. Every single item was clearly documented with high-resolution photos, accompanied by transparent safety-level and urgency ratings, making it exceptionally easy to understand exactly what condition the car is in. Instead of pushing unnecessary upsells, they walked me through potential future issues with clear, constructive advice and prioritized what actually needs attention down the road. That level of honesty, technical competence, and transparency is rare to find. Dorso's Automotive Repair has easily earned my trust, and this is now my go-to shop for routine maintenance and future repairs. Dorso's is the best! They have been tending to my vehucles for approximately 20 years. They perform quality work and do not make repairs that are not indicated. I wholeheartedly recommend Dorso's. The dealership had tightened my filter so much that other shops couldn’t pry it open, and one place said they’d need to charge me extra just to get it off and replace it. Dorso’s took a look, did a full workup, checked everything, threw in a tire rotation, and had no problem at all with my filter. No extra hassle like everywhere else! I felt like I’d been going there for years, and they made what seemed like a headache into an easy fix. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back to them!
I had excellent experience with Dorso and would highly recommend them. The vehicle is 28 years old and has 145k miles and had never had the tranny oil changed since I bought it new. Years ago, I had taken it to Bruce’s Tires in Osgood and was turned away because of the vehicle’s age and mileage. When I explained the situation to Joe at Dorso, he looked at differently and said “it’s all gears and just a manual transmission”. Dorso drained and refilled transmission with fresh oil exactly what had asked them to do. But what impressed me even more was that they also performed a thorough multi point inspection @ no additional charge. They emailed me a detailed report with pictures showing anything that needed attention or that they recommended keeping an eye on. The level of service, transparency, and willingness to help really stood out to me. I never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs and appreciated for taking the time to explain what they found. I wouldn’t hesitate to take my rides back to Dorso for any future maintenance or repairs. Highly recommended!!!
