I just went to Clare to have a cut and color with highlights. She was incredible, I'm happier with my color than I've ever been! I gave her some direction, and let her have a little room to make decisions and I couldn't be happier! I've found my new stylist!

I wanted to get a hair salon that will be closer to the shopping area where I go and after searching carefully I found Elysian Salon & Spa.. Hanna Goulden is my stylist and she is such a talented professional that has been keeping me happy every time I go to see her. The whole team is the best. The atmosphere is just awesome.

I have been a client of Kyla’s for years and when I say she is a hair genius I am saying she is a goddess of hair knowledge. She listens to me complain about my hairs texture, part, and my styling challenges and is able to cut, color and texture my hair in ways that highlight the things I do not like.
If you wanna go blonde, I HIGHLY suggest Hanna. She was so nice and went above and beyond
Betty was great- conversation felt natural and never forced or awkward, it was clear that she wa very skilled and knowledgeable, and when the color didn't come out quite right, she immediately pointed it out and remedied it. They also provide little gift bags, which is a very nice touch.

Love this place, I have followed Betty Sweeny from her shop in Ottawa to Elysian Salon in Lenexa. She is so sweet, and you won't find a better colorist. I have very hard to match natural red hair and through trial and error we have finally nailed it. She also puts up with my whims when it comes to styling my bangs....I am the first to admit I am picky.
