Steve did an inspection for a home I’m in the process of purchasing and he gave me a report more detailed than I could have expected. A few days before the inspection I asked to add on a radon test and he went a day before to put it up as it takes a few days and he followed up on that as well. He did an exceptional job for me.

Thank you for your review. I appreciate your comments, especially coming from a realtor as hard working and dedicated to their clients as you are. I know you wouldn't refer me to do their inspections unless you felt I provided them with the service every client deserves. An inspection isn't just between an inspector and "what's" being inspected, but also between the inspector and "who" it's being inspected for. That's why customer service is such a high priority for me. Wishing you and your clients all the best.

I was a first time home buyer navigating a for sale by owner transaction; when it was time to find a home inspector, my real estate attorney said he could recommend a few, but Steve is the inspector he’d trust with his mother’s home – so that’s who I went with, and I’m glad I did! Steve was professional and pleasant, showed up when he said he would and provided a very thorough report on the property for me. He made himself available to answer any follow-up questions I might have – but the report was so clear, I didn’t have any. Buying my first house was quite stressful, but working with Steve had a calming effect, and I’m grateful to have had his help. Highly recommend!

Steve is the home inspector you want — thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure you understand your house, not just check a box.
He inspected a home we were considering in Northville, and his approach set a high bar. He worked methodically through every system, explaining what he found and why it mattered as he went — patient with every question my spouse and I had along the way. The final report matched that same standard: clean, well-organized, and easy to follow, making it simple to prioritize next steps. As a licensed inspector, he backed that credential up with real, practical expertise.
If you want technical competence paired with patience and professionalism, Steve delivers both. Highly recommend.

Arrived early and was already checking out the outside when I arrived. Incredibly thorough, communicative and friendly. Told a few jokes and had a very calm demeanor. I had the report emailed to me within 4 hours. As someone who knows very little about all this and is buying their first home, I was grateful to have such a professional person walking me through every point.
