The temp agency sent people to these private own warehouse company/manufacturer that's against age discrimantion towards disabled or people with mental health. What's the purpose for an agency that do not help the senior citizen who wants to work. Humiliation is what ends up happening, after all the hard work we sacrificed to do our best. Temp agency should be upgraded to address our senior citizen if the job is fit to work or not. If so, poor proformance isn't good enough to fair people, if they wasn't never approached by management at that company. It isn't fair to start assignment to judging an employee who just started and never had a chance to complete 90 days. Unemployment needs to see the number of people at these companies that have a high ratio of firing people or bad behavioral patterns. I've done one week and was discriminated by my age and race in two week. Justice should be served to those temp agency who set people up to be fired by there performance within one week. So, how can a company judge a person on two week of training. Temp Agency needs to do better to help find people work who want to work not judge them by their backgrounds or poor performance which doesn't make sense for two weeks 🤔

Express Employment Professionals’ policy regarding employment history tells you a lot about what the agency is actually focused on. I was told they could not assist me with my job search because of my employment history and the duration of my previous positions. I understand why the policy makes sense from the company’s perspective: they want candidates who look good on paper and are easy to place with their clients. The problem is that this approach seems much more pro-company than pro-people. My biggest problem is that I believe people should come before the resume. A resume only shows you what someone's employment history looks like; it does not tell you why someone left a job, why a position was short-term, why there was a gap in employment, or what circumstances someone may have been dealing with. You cannot fully understand someone's situation simply by looking at their work history. That seems especially frustrating when the position someone is seeking is advertised as entry-level. If a job is truly entry-level, I believe there should be more focus on whether the person can do the job, is willing to work, and meets the requirements of the position rather than whether their previous employment history looks perfect on paper. Express has the legal right to make this decision, and I recognize that. However, I personally disagree with giving companies and employment agencies so much legal discretion to decide who they are willing to help based on someone's employment history. Having the legal right to do something does not mean I believe it is a good policy. At the end of the day, this makes Express seem more interested in finding candidates who already look good and are easy to place with their clients than helping people who may actually need an employment agency. If your resume does not fit their preferred model, apparently you can simply be turned away. If you have a perfect or near-perfect resume and already fit what their clients are looking for, Express may be a good option. But if you have gaps, shorter-term positions, or a work history that does not look perfect on paper, I would keep in mind that their approach may not be geared toward helping you overcome those circumstances. I do want to make clear that the employee I dealt with was fine. She was professional and even offered to provide me with a list of other employment agencies that might be able to assist me. I appreciate that offer. My criticism is not directed at her personally; it is directed at the company’s policy and the priorities that policy appears to reflect. My issue is ultimately simple: I believe an employment agency should look at the person before deciding what the resume says about them. Express has the legal right to take a different approach, but I do not agree with it.
