I really enjoy the semi private lesson format. It’s not as much expensive as a one on one but it pushes you hard to finish a satisfying work out. I haven’t really got the nutrition part down just yet but it’s been a good experience. Worth a try.

I found this gym online. On joining Ferris Fitness my goals were strengthening and weight loss. If you’re on the fence about joining Ferris, I definitely recommend it. Five stars for sure and here’s my "why":
I’ve been training here for about 6 weeks, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience. As a woman, I feel very comfortable here, and one of the things I really appreciate is that it never feels overcrowded or intimidating.
I came in knowing I wouldn’t be able to reach my goals on my own, and I really appreciate how the workouts are structured around what I’m trying to accomplish.
Ryan is the trainer I work with mostly, and his positive energy is honestly contagious. He pushes me to get better every time I’m there, but he also pays attention to things like my back pain and makes adjustments if something aggravates it. Instead of solely working around those issues, he has helped me strengthen the areas that need it.
Nikeem, Austin, and Jai have also been a huge part of my progress. Everyone on the team genuinely seems to care about helping me succeed. They keep me accountable with my meals and daily goals, help me understand my stats, and actually take the time to explain what is and isn’t significant. I really appreciate that the focus is on building healthy habits and getting stronger rather than being told to simply eat less or starve myself.
Six weeks ago, I knew I needed help to reach these goals on my own. Now, I genuinely feel confident that I’m on the right track and will be ready when it matters. I’m really grateful for the entire team and everything they’ve done to help me get here.

I waited about 9 weeks to write this review because I wanted to give myself enough time to really experience Ferris Fitness and make sure I was giving honest, meaningful feedback. I can confidently say that joining this gym was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself.
The coaches are absolutely amazing. Austin is the absolute best, but honestly, every coach I’ve worked with has been incredible. They genuinely care about the people they train. They listen with compassion, care, and empathy, while still pushing you to be better. They know when to challenge you and when to adjust things based on your individual needs.
The atmosphere is upbeat, fun, and welcoming. The other members are amazing too. Everyone supports each other, encourages each other, and celebrates your wins. You never feel like you’re working out alone.
The accountability and nutritional coaching are also top tier. It’s so much more than just showing up and lifting weights. They’re helping you build sustainable habits and actually understand what you’re doing and why.
I was always intimidated by the idea of going to a big-box gym. I worried I would feel judged, out of place, or like I didn’t belong. Ferris Fitness has been the complete opposite. From the beginning, I’ve felt welcomed, supported, and respected.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, it means a lot to me to be in an environment where I can genuinely be myself. I feel respected and accepted here. There’s nothing pretentious or judgmental about this place. Everyone is there for the same reason: to improve themselves and support the people around them.
If you’ve been thinking about joining, take the plunge. You won’t regret it. I highly recommend Ferris Fitness to anyone looking for a gym where the coaches actually care, the members support one another, and you can feel comfortable being yourself.
