Battery was detected as a non-authentic Apple replacement (as expected) but still worked…. at least for 6 months or so, then one day it suddenly swelled up and popped the screen clear off and would likely be a fire hazard. Would recommended just using an authorized Apple battery…

DO NOT GO HERE!! They use NON-GENUINE parts that will RUIN your phone. I went for a simple cracked screen repair and they told me it would be $160. I brought my phone in to get my camra fixed but he used his knife and cracked my screen. I asked about it but he said that to fix that it would cost 100 more dollars. I would not recommend the service was so terrible and he was just downright rude. All he cares about is money not the customers phone. I have half the mind to sue.

Shattered the back of my ZFlip, scheduled the repair, brought it in, done in 30min. I returned that device as an early upgrade with my provider (who is VERY strict on those returns). It passed inspections so if you have a phone issue give this place a chance!

Authorized/Competent repair technicians would be able to hookup the BMS circuit to a replacement battery that would prevent overcharging leading to battery failure/swelling that they think is “common” cause of user error which BMS is designed specifically to address.

If you saying that Apple batteries not swell - you’re wrong. All batteries get swell if you use it wrong. Main issues are Excessive Heat, overcharging, physical damage and etc. mostly if you leave it on charge over 6-7hours it swell easily. If you change your mind you can ask manager at store and I can help you with your issue.
