Chris came out to provide a free consultation and estimate for a high-lift conversion for our garage. He was a straight shooter and clearly knew his craft. He didn't try to upsell any unnecessary add-ons or undercut any of the other four garage techs that were coming by that day, yet still quoted the best price out of all of them.
Guy was the tech who ultimately performed the work. He was equally professional, answering all of my questions and cleaning up after himself when he was done. I'm very happy, not just with the quality of the work, but with the equipment they sourced and installed. Not only are the new motor and coils much quieter than the outgoing kit, the whole set-up is also more feature rich.
If I ever need any more garage work in the future, I know who to call.

James from Garage Tech came out to service the electric garage door opener at our new condo and ended up doing far more than a simple service call. He found that some of the cables and pulleys were showing significant wear and that the door itself was out of alignment. He worked on it until everything was operating properly and, more importantly, until he was satisfied with how it was performing.
James communicated with me throughout the entire process, explained what he found and what needed to be done, and quoted the cost up front so there were no surprises. He also programmed two additional remotes for me and reset the code for the existing opener.
Before he left, he explained what we should consider doing next, noted it on my invoice, and even included the cost so I know exactly what to expect when the time comes.
James was thorough, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. I would absolutely use Garage Tech again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
