We had a fantastic experience with Gentle Giant for a semi-long distance pack and move! Our movers were quick and efficient but also very careful - everything made it to our final destination in one piece with no hiccups. And we didn’t have to do a thing! Highly highly recommend. Shoutout Karun, Erick, and Bobby - they did a great job!!
I never leave reviews but let me tell you, this company, customer service and movers are phenomenal. We had a lot of boxes and heavy furniture (which I felt horrible about) but we really needed help and reliable people to help secure our valuables and these were the guys. I can’t recommend this company enough and if…
Used Gentle Giant for a 2nd floor condo move. 75% was packed but a lot of odd sized items remained. The team was incredible the day of the move, meticulous in their work and very personable. I also really appreciate the upfront transparent pricing and the tagging and tracking of all items throughout the process. A+ happy to recommend.
From setting up the move to the move itself, everything went smoothly with Gentle Giants. Professional, prompt, and kind communication. Transparent pricing and billing. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A very special thank you to Paul, Mohamed, and Tyler for their excellent work! We highly recommend Gentle Giants.
Fantastic experience - super easy move, almost too easy! Everything was packed up with care, moved quickly and carefully through both buildings and organized perfectly. I could not recommend Gentle Giant more! Especially with a tight turnaround on availability on my end, they made it a breeze.
The guys were great - professional, courteous and thorough. They moved a very heavy piece of exercise equipment downstairs for me even though it wasn't moving, which saved me a lot of stress. 10 out of 10!
The crew was fantastic--professional, friendly, easygoing--they really took my anxiety about the move down several notches!
Absolutely the best moving company I have used over the last 10 years and highly recommend Gentle Giant. The team contacted me the morning of the move to keep me posted of their arrival time which was on-time. A team of three professional and friendly men showed up, and they went to great lengths to safely pack/wrap…
Armi and his team did an incredible job! The team arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and handled all of our belongings with great care. We have kids and are a working family. The team worked non stop for 14hs straight! To make sure our kids beds were assembled so they could sleep in our new house…
Dex and Dakarai were professional, flexible, and very efficient. They took good care with all possessions and easily completed multiple in-city stops. Second time I’ve used Gentle Giant—highly recommended. Thank you.
Milos and his crew did a great job of moving us, even with some challenging pieces of furniture and doorways. They worked quickly and carefully, and were very friendly. The people in the office were responsive and helpful, and made this a smooth process from beginning to end. The price was fair, and there were no…
We had Zachary and Andre help us for our move and when I say they were phenomenal, that is not an understatement! Professional, friendly, and SO hardworking. We have a couch that can't be taken apart and our new place has a very tight entryway. About a half hour into trying to find a way to get the couch into the…
We found Gentle Giant to be ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC!! They took Great Care with everything — and we had No Problems at all !! After a few minutes of their being on the job, our moving Stress Levels went way down !!! While they may cost a little more — when you subtract out BENEFITS for Stress Reduction, they are…
Just a great experience moving our house from DC to MD with Gentle Giant. They packed the house up on one day, and moved it all the next. The crew - Dex Veney and crew Andrei Talasman, Leonard Cunningham, Brian Ivey, and Dakarai Veney - were all masked up, cheerful, and worked really hard on both days! They took…
We’ve used Gentle Giant since 2004, moving from Va. Beach to Boston and back again. And now once again as we downsize from our DC home to a smaller place in the District. Also, this past weekend Gentle Giant took a truckload of our furnishings to our son in Virginia Beach. All splendidly done. They are exactly what…
Gentle Giant movers were Gentle! From our booking experience to the actual move, everything was painless and pleasant. Everyone we spoke to was professional and helpful, the videos on the website are very useful! The movers arrived exactly on-time and were so professional, caring about our belongings, and truly…
Very professional and did a great job Top notch communication throughout the whole process
The office did a decent job of arranging the move. I filled a catalogue of items to be moved and I was initially sticker shocked by the estimate. I negotiated down a bit, but I had underestimated the amount of items we had and the level of care/caution they would use. When they got to the apartment, it took some…
Moving is stressful already, and thanks to COVID it can be anxiety-inducing. Gentle Giant were highly communicative, accommodating, and reassuring through the entire process -- including before we even decided to choose them. Our movers were Dex and Dakarai, two good guys who carried our boxes and furniture down two…
This was a great experience of moving. The guys, Javier, Nate & Alberta could not have been more well orchestrated. These guys are professional beyond and so customer service driven. They went above and beyond and even laid a rug and pad that arrived by mail while they were setting up. These guys were…
