We used full packing and moving services with storage. Both the packing team (Paul, Gabe, Javier) and the moving team (Paul, Kevin, Daniel, Gerson) were wonderful! They were friendly, kind, interactive, and diligent. They wasted no time in getting started and worked solid until the job was done. We used Gentle…
We used Gentle Giants to wrap and load our furniture into a U-Haul truck we rented. We were happy with their response, communication and professional attitude for the initial phase and when it came to the wrapping and loading we continued to be impressed. Dakarai, Donny and Cameron were awesome. We plan to use them again. They are reasonably priced too.
Gentle Giant did a terrific job for me. Everyone I worked with from the packers to the movers were kind, hard working and efficient. They took very good care of all my belongings. I highly recommend Gentle Giant to anyone looking for an excellent moving company!
Gentle giant aha a great team. Fast and thorough.
We had the most positive experience moving with Gentle Giant and could not recommend them enough. While it was a more premium price point than what we’ve seen elsewhere, the amount of care, communication, and professionalism was well worth the investment. Not only did the team handle our items with extreme care,…
Donny, Kevin and Raily were wonderful to work with. They took extra care of all of my items and made sure everything was put back together (sleep number bed, treadmill, etc) and functioning correctly before they left. I wouid definitely recommend Gentle Giant and this crew for exceptional professionalism and care of…
Paul and Gerson did an amazing job moving my furniture and boxes for my DC apartment. They both were quick, kind, professional and kept all of my stuff safe/not damaged. Thank you!!
I just used Gentle Giant to move houses. The team was amazing. They were careful, communicated very well, and very efficient. I highly recommend their services. The team was led by Amin (who was amazing) and all of the crew (including Paul, Mohamed, Erick, Alonso, Buenaventura, Gerson, Kevin, Jimmy, and Octavian) were professional, friendly, and helpful!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a great experience with this moving company! The movers were incredibly patient, caring, and professional throughout the entire process. They handled our belongings with care and never made us feel rushed, even during the more stressful parts of moving. They were also so kind and easy to work…
Thank you Gentle Giant! Dakarai & Mason made the moving process easy and they were so quick and efficient. I appreciate their professionalism and respect for my items as if it were their own. Grateful for the whole team especially Dominique for her effective communication and dedication to ensuring I understood the whole process. Highly recommended.
Great, friendly team! The truck showed up on time with a team of 2, and the other 2 team members came a couple hours later. They worked efficiently and carefully and wrapped up only half an hour behind schedule. The office team was also extremely responsive to questions. Would definitely use again!
I rarely leave reviews, but I've used Gentle Giant for two moves now (apartment to apartment and apartment to house) and they're head and shoulders the best. Always efficient, careful, and quick, and they've always been willing to make sure things are perfect before heading out. This time, I had a piece of…
Gentle Giant's moving crew was on time for our move, highly professional, fast (beating their own estimate by a couple of hours), and without incident. Their back-office staff was equally professional and helpful. They helped ensure a typically stressful day was stress-free.
Gentle Giant far surpassed our expectations. We were so impressed by their fairness and work ethic that we will never use a different moving company. The crew was so hard working, and positive during a very difficult logistical move. Our final bill was actually less than the estimate! If you need a moving…
I’ve done multiple moves with Gentle Giant and wholeheartedly recommend them. For this move, our crew was faster than estimated and the whole process came in under budget, which is always a plus. Paul, Andre, Karun, and Dylan were so nice to work with and very careful packing and moving our stuff, including delicate…
Have now had 2 great moving experiences with Gentle Giants. Dex and Francis were incredibly efficient, professional, and kind! Highly recommend
Excellent service. Great attitude, hard working people and efficient system that works to move things with care and quite quickly. Thanks for great work Paul, Jimmy, Mason, Brandon, Bobby!!!
Everything was great! Such an awesome team. I wasn't completely ready, yet they filled all the gaps that I had missed and still stayed on schedule. Great job!
On time, incredibly professional and communicative. Friendly, fast and truly "gentle."
The moving team was fast, efficient, knowledgeable about their craft, courteous (even kind!) to us as we dealt with the chaos of the move. They worked well as a team, respecting each others' skills and safety. Happy to recommend !
Paul, Dylan, and Jimmy were extremely helpful moving me out of my apartment. They handled everything with care in an efficient manner. I would highly recommend their services for anyone’s future move out.
Paul, Erick & Bobby were AMAZING!!
I would highly recommend Gentle Giant for your moving needs. Attention to detail, efficiency and excellent communication skills. True professionals!
Gentle Giant Moving Company is truly elite. They moved my family from one DC rowhome to another, which involved large items, tons of steps, and tight spaces. The team was professional, skilled, friendly and a joy to be around. They made moving our refrigerator and Green Egg grill look like no problem at all. Hiring…
Couldn’t be happier with my move! Gabriel, Jamie, and Riley were awesome! Super friendly, super quick, super thorough. I highly recommend!!
Gentle Giant made our move completely stress-free from start to finish. They handled both our packing and our move, and the entire team went above and beyond every step of the way. Everyone was incredibly professional, friendly, and hardworking. What stood out most was their attitude—nothing ever felt like an…
This was hands-down the best moving company I have ever hired and I have moved a lot. They were efficient. They solved every problem without trouble. They were friendly and did everything they could to make me happy. I cannot say enough good about them. i’m Happy to recommend them.
Moving is stressful but I thank God for Gentle Giant Moving company. This is my 4th time using this company. I do think they can be a bit pricey and I always seem to go past the quoted price. I dont think they should charge from the moment they leave the warehouse but other than that I am always pleased with the…
10/10 moving experience! Dex & Daniel were so efficient and kind throughout the whole process. Would absolutely move with Gentle Giant again. Thank you!!
I never leave reviews but let me tell you, this company, customer service and movers are phenomenal. We had a lot of boxes and heavy furniture (which I felt horrible about) but we really needed help and reliable people to help secure our valuables and these were the guys. I can’t recommend this company enough and if…
Would give higher than 5 stars if able. Three professional movers, Armin, Octavian and Erick, handled our move perfectly. Called before to keep us in the loop, expertly wrapped the furniture/other and moved quickly into and out of the truck. I called around and fortunately landed on Gentle Giant. If in the…
They were incredibly efficient, super kind, and considerate! They made my very stressful move a breeze.
★★★★★ Outstanding Experience with Gentle Giant I cannot say enough good things about Gentle Giant and the crew that handled my move. I called on very short notice because I needed to move urgently due to a significant pest issue in my building that was not going to be resolved quickly. From my very first…
Entire crew was excellent!!! Hustled and took excellent care of my stuff!! A delight to use Gentle Giant a second time! I highly recommend them and I have moved about 40 times in my life (best move of them all)!
The team was great. Showed up on time and worked hard.
If I could give them six stars I would! I have moved with gentle giant twice now and it is always a great experience.
Wonderful service! Gabe, Eric, and Mohammad were punctual, polite, and courteous! They were efficient with moving me out, careful with my belongings and even went above and beyond their duties! Highly recommend and will use them again in the future!
Amazing job Gentle Giant move crew!!!! Each team member was so efficient and helpful. Paul, my move crew leader was fantastic with coordinating the equipment and the truck and moving into my apartment building successfully. It all went so smoothly and I truly appreciated all the work put into making this move go SO…
Out of 5 prior moves, this was the best crew I've used. Clean blankets, clean truck. Careful treatment of objects and no damage. Fast and safe. Great experience.
Fantastic experience, second time in a decade using Gentle Giant for a local move. Clear communication and pricing. Crew arrived early, worked efficiently and were super nice.
We were extremely satisfied with the exceptional customer service and professionalism of all three team members. Kyle, Andre, and Buenaventura were amazing. They called when they finished an earlier job and arrived early. They were super organized and their team work made the move so smooth! I highly recommend…
Jimmy and Paul truly made a difference in my move. I cannot say more incredible things about the two of them. Start to finish from the initial communication with the office. Then the two gentleman did a fantastic job on both ends. I wish I used them for my move 18 months ago, it would have been so much better. I highly recommend this company.
We were serviced by Kyle Williams and Frank Slater. They were communicative, efficient, and wonderful to work with. Quickly got an initial estimate which was close to the actual cost. Highly recommend!
From setting up the move to the move itself, everything went smoothly with Gentle Giants. Professional, prompt, and kind communication. Transparent pricing and billing. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A very special thank you to Paul, Mohamed, and Tyler for their excellent work! We highly recommend Gentle Giants.
very good experience...some big things to move too.
Gentle Giant delivered the smoothest move of my life — and that’s saying a lot, since I’m in my 70s. Javier, Erick, Octavian and Kevin labored seamlessly for nine hours to move me from a six-bedroom to 4-bedroom home — carefully prepping by laying down plastic and wrapping furniture and later patiently placing items…
We had a great experience with Gentle Giant Moving Co! The team was kind, efficient, and professional, and they took great care with all of our belongings. They also supported us in the weeks leading up to the move with materials, packing advice, and clear communication throughout the whole process. We’re so…
The three guys were punctual, courteous, and extremely efficient. Not only were they professional but their friendliness made the move very relaxed.
I cannot be more happy with my experience with Gentle Giant. Paul & Erick took careful note of the inventory, formulated a plan, and executed with precision. They engaged extremely professionally and I don't think I ever heard them so much as complain. Anyone can hire big movers who can lift heavy stuff, but I…
We had an amazing experience with Gentle Giant Moving Company. The team worked unbelievably hard the entire time, lifting heavy furniture, navigating tight spaces, and doing it all with a positive attitude. They were not only strong and efficient, but also thoughtful and careful with our belongings. Honestly, they…
Kyle, Dex, and Jimmy were great. Very professional and efficient. This is our second time using Gentle Giant and I would highly recommend them for your next move.
My crew was coordinated, careful, and fast, accomplishing the move hours below the top of the time estimate for my small, short distance residential move - despite my inability to get a loading dock open for most of an hour. While the price was a bit high, I found it was well worth it.
Friendly, helpful, and professional. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience - super easy move, almost too easy! Everything was packed up with care, moved quickly and carefully through both buildings and organized perfectly. I could not recommend Gentle Giant more! Especially with a tight turnaround on availability on my end, they made it a breeze.
The crew was fantastic--professional, friendly, easygoing--they really took my anxiety about the move down several notches!
This review is way overdue since our move was in January, but I wanted to take the time to highlight how great our experience was with Gentle Giant. It was honestly the least stressful move we've ever had. We were given 3 movers and Paul was assigned as the team leader. We're glad we got assigned Paul since not only…
Kyle, Dex, and Tanner were extremely professional and efficient, and they communicated very well throughout the process. They have my highest recommendation.
Professional, courteous and friendly! I will use Gentle Giant again if/when needed.
I used to think moving was AWFUL! And, yes -- a lot of the packing and sorting is still awful -- but Gentle Giant makes the final part of the move a breeze. Truly! They expertly finish packing stuff you didn't get to or need help with (like artwork and fragile items) and move everything out smoothly and quickly.…
Paul, Jimmy, and Brandon may have topped my best moving experience ever. Super professional, nice, methodical, and thoughtful. I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. Thanks to you all and Dominique!
Gentle Giant has been a great service from the first phone call for a quote. Our movers, Dex and Jimmy, were on-time, efficient, and professional, even finishing the unloading quicker than the estimate. Truly no complaints on any front. I would definitely hire GG's services again.
Incredible experience! Paul and Erick were true pros and made everything incredibly easy. At no point were we worried about everything. Hire good movers like this, and you'll never regret it.
I hired Gentle Giant Moving Company specially to move our king sized Sleep Number bed to our new residence. I was really scared about the bed getting damaged in the process and the reviews I read online about this company indicated that Gentle Giant could handle the task. The people who showed up were very…
Paul and Mohamed move a heavy custom built armoire up 2 stories. They were very careful with the furniture and mindful of my house. They were intentional about preventing scratches on my hardwood floors and walls. I've used Gentle Giants for 6 years and they always do a great job whether they are moving my entire house or one heavy piece of furniture.
This moving company is simply the best. We have used this company several times over the last 5 - 6 years - for ourselves and for our children's moves. Dominique, who handles the scheduling and billing is a pleasure to work with. The estimates that are given are completely accurate (and we are always billed UNDER…
No problems at all! Totally professional and courteous!
The team did an exceptional job, from start to finish. We are very pleased with the professionalism and attitude throughout the long day. Highly recommend Gentle Giant! Crew: Javier, Brandon, Octavian, Dex, Kyle, Jimmy, Antonio
Absolutely the best moving company I have used over the last 10 years and highly recommend Gentle Giant. The team contacted me the morning of the move to keep me posted of their arrival time which was on-time. A team of three professional and friendly men showed up, and they went to great lengths to safely pack/wrap…
Gentle Giant was a wonderful company to work with for my move. All the employees were professional and courteous during the entire process. Without a doubt I would highly recommend Gentle Giant to anyone needing to move.
Taner & Donny did a fantastic job!!
The guys were on-time, courteous, professional, and helpful!
I booked Gentle Giants for an intracity move and would highly recommend. Dex and Taner were on time, efficient yet careful, and friendly! The company’s pricing was reasonable and transparent.
Working with Gentle Giants was the least stressful part of our move. Great communication leading up to move and the crew took great care of our stuff. Plus everyone was super nice! We’ll definitely be using them moving forward and be recommending them to all our friends.
The team was the best. Careful and respectful!!!! Paul, Eric and Octavian were so professional. What a great team!!! I highly recommend this team for everyone.
Superb communication, timely service, nice people!
Gentle Giant was incredible. Would recommend 100%. From the moving consultant to the movers themselves, the customer experience was incredible. The price is also extremely reasonable.
This is the third time I have used this moving company. Moving generally stresses me but each time the crews have exceeded my expectations with handling / prepping my belongings and providing a calming experience. And they are magicians at spacial awareness filling storage units!!!! I highly recommend this company.
Dex, Frank, and Antonio are all awesome. Worked fast and very mindful of the furniture.
Excellent, quality move. They covered every need. I recommend them for anybody.
The gentlemen were incredibly professional. We appreciated the approach of surveying what was moving and what was remaining, and also on arrival to new home. I appreciated the senior veterans of the group who spoke up and gave good corrective feedback in realtime and taught the less seasoned members of the team.…
