Before even starting the grooming, Cristina noticed that Angel’s body felt warm and that her gums looked unusually pale. She immediately became concerned that Angel might be anemic. She didn’t just ignore it or continue with the grooming—she actually called me back so she could show me what she noticed and explain her concerns. That level of care and attention meant so much to me, especially because I had only had Angel for about a week. After Angel was groomed, I took her straight to the Veg animal hospital. Thankfully, she did not have a fever, but the veterinarians confirmed that she was severely anemic and needed treatment, including deworming and other care. Cristina, I truly believe you were a lifesaver. You have such a caring heart, and I honestly feel like you have a special gift with animals—a true dog whisperer. 🥹❤️ The fact that you noticed something was wrong before even grooming her and cared enough to stop and bring it to my attention is something I will never forget. Because of you, Angel received the medical attention she needed much sooner than she otherwise might have. I am beyond grateful. From this day forward, there is no one else I would trust with my Angel, my baby girl, when it comes to grooming and caring for her. Cristina and Mauricio at Happy Tails Grooming have earned my trust completely. Thank you, Cristina. Thank you, Mauricio. Hi Leopoldo, we strongly disagree with your review. You have been a client with us since 11/28/2025, and over the course of 16 visits we consistently made efforts to accommodate you and provide proper care for Max. During that time, there were repeated instances of disrespectful behavior toward our staff. Despite this, we continued to work with you and extend service in good faith. However, we have a responsibility to maintain a safe and respectful environment, and ongoing disrespect toward our team is not something we tolerate. For clarity, Max’s grooming requires two groomers due to behavioral challenges that require careful handling to ensure the safety of both him and our staff. Rushing this process is not an option, as it significantly increases the risk of injury. After 16 visits under these conditions, we made the decision to discontinue services. We stand by that decision and wish you and Max the best moving forward.
