I recently needed to send my beloved Oggy-pup to Dog Heaven and I can't express enough appreciation to so many at Hillside for their care and support. There are not many harder days and Hillside's staff, along with Dr. Burchett , made this traumatic experience go as smoothly as possible. Dr. Burchett "squeezed" Oggy and me in, between his appointments, so that Oggy wouldn't need to suffer any longer; and, Marae, Lesa and Judd couldn't have been more caring providing Oggy and me with plenty of time and attention to "say good-bye" in the most loving way. Dr. Burchett was also highly supportive coaching me through the process and expressing much sensitivity at such a tender time. Thank you to all for supporting Oggy and me through an extremely tough time.

This place is Deplorable, first let’s speak about the staff(or kids that hate their jobs so they are on the phone , giggling on the internet or just simply have something better to do then to greet you. Then there’s the so called techs that obviously don’t do their jobs to even know what your pets name is ( after you spend more the 3000.00 dollars on your pet.) then when you actually get the rare opportunity to see a so called veterinarian they prescribe either and both in this case the wrong medication or too much of a dose.And when all is said and done they have the techs come out and tell you the wonderful news that your pet will be okay, however you will need to spend this amount another 6-8 times as that’s how long it will take the Dog to heal in a perfect world. Which it is not. Run to any other animal veterinarian. They are deplorable at HILLSIDE Veterinarian!!! Oh and buy the way , nothing they sell you will work!

Our team greeted and assisted you throughout your appointments, and our lead nurse has worked with Louie on multiple occasions and is very familiar with his case. You also met with several veterinarians who discussed in detail the severity of Louie’s laceration, the treatment plan, and the realistic timeline for healing, including that recovery can take multiple visits and may vary depending on how each patient responds. Regarding medications, the prescriptions provided were within the appropriate dosing range for Louie’s condition. As with any medication, responses and healing times can vary from patient to patient. Our recommendations were made with Louie’s best interest and comfort in mind. Our Lead Medical Director has also attempted to contact you twice to further discuss your concerns and answer any questions you may still have. We encourage you to reach out to us directly if you would like to continue that conversation. We truly care about Louie and wish him the very best in his recovery.

We ended up having to put our dog down in March, but we received the sweetest sympathy card from the whole team. The level of service and customer care at Hillside are unparalleled. I won't go anywhere else again!

I have been taking my dogs here for less than two years. Have not been satisfied with the current vet I was seeing here so when my dog got sick I requested to see a different vet. My dog had been throwing up and had bright red blood and mucous in his stools. We decided we would do blood work and a fecal. The vet told me she would have the results in the morning and would call me. In the meantime she gave me an antibiotic and I put him on a bland diet - this was a Wednesday. The following day I hadn't heard back so I called in the afternoon and was told the vet had gone home for the day and would be back in the office the following Thursday. I asked if someone else could give me the results. I was put on hold and then told the results weren't back yet. The next day again no one had called so I contacted the clinic again and was told that the results weren't back and now I was told they could take up to a week. I obviously was very confused as to why I was told I would have the results the next day and never told it would take up to a week. I was a vet tech for years and I can't remember ever waiting up to a week for a basic CBC/Chem panel with a fecal. Fast forward to Monday and no phone call - again I called and the front desk person told me that partial results were back but she could not interpret the results and would have the vet call me on Thursday when she was back in the office. I told her I would like to talk to another vet about my dog and the partial results as he was a little better but not his usual self. She said she would put me on the call list and someone would get back to me that day. Tuesday still no call so once again I called and I was told the results were back and she would again put me on the call list to have someone call me back that day. NO CALL. Wednesday I called and asked to have my dogs results emailed to me so I could take them to another clinic with my dog. I was told she could not release the results until a vet went over the results with me. Then have a vet call me with the results!! Later that afternoon almost a week since I took my dog in finally a vet tech called to review the results - what happened to a vet calling me? How about following up with your clients when they have a sick animal. How about calling your clients and making good when you say you will call them. I will not be taking my dogs back to Hillside and don't recommend taking your animals there.
