We were having electrical issues associated with our air conditioner. Diego from Hoffman Electric did an excellent job diagnosing the problem and proposing a solution. He was thorough and explained the situation and solution in detail. He worked efficiently to get us back up and running. Thank you!
Mike Thorpe was our electrician from Hoffman Electric. He was timely, professional and EXTREMELY knowledgeable!!! He worked all day, he was very hard working and paid a lot of attention to detail. James was a genuine pleasure to work with, creating a plan that fit our budget and timeline.
After expressing my concerns about a job that was done 5 years ago, John D, Service Manager, dispatched James Bryant to review the work and reassure me that things were up to code. James inspected and tightened all connections and gave my pool heat pump wiring his blessing. James also tightened all the connections…
We highly recommend Hoffman Electrical and A/C... A top notch company with top notch employees!! Fantastic!!! We’ve used them many times since we bought our home here in Largo. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable! And we continue to contract them to do work for us. Updated 4/17/26
I cannot say enough good things about Rodel and Kody. They had a huge job and did it with care and professionalism and we’re very respectful to my father in his home of 65 years. If there are ever supervisor positions open, these two should have first dibs!
We had a fantastic experience with Hoffman Electrical & A/C! From start to finish, their communication was excellent—clear, prompt, and professional. Scheduling was incredibly easy, and they were able to get us on the calendar and complete the installation much faster than we expected. The electrician, Mike, was…
Very knowledgeable & attentive. Hoping bid will be competitive as there is a lot of work I want done. Highly reccomended so far. This was just for a bid so questions below dont really apply as far as fair price & cost as im still waiting on that info. Items marked are what the bid is for.
Mike Thorp was awesome. He said and did what was needed. He educated us as to the difference of what we thought and the reality of what was best. He's definitely is a keeper for you all.
Kody was a gem! Friendly, efficient & explained issue needing to be replaced—AC unit disconnect box & wiring during our 2 coldest nights -he was able to get the system running with a bypass & would return the next day with the parts to do a total fix—so I was able to get some heat till he returned today as planned…

Diego at Hoffman Electric diagnosed our electrical problem and recommended a cost effective solution. We agreed to have the work completed. Diego completed the work and the lights look great. Thanks a million.
Friendly. Explained the job and options. Great job.
Called Hoffman Electric for a simple outlet issue. They charge a $49 upfront fee, which I agreed to — but no one ever mentioned an additional $250 assessment fee. The technician was here for less than 10 minutes, found nothing wrong, and still charged the this crazy amount. I feel this is completely unfair and…

Shady!!!! They tried to charge me $409 for one outlet which ended up just being a loose wire. $409!!! And when I said no to the service they told me I owed $275 for them telling me what was wrong. When I said that's the the service call fee is for, they argued until I made them call the office. They are shady and would not hire them again!!!
