We called Hudson Hardwood to help with the original wood floors in a 100-year old home. Joe was very responsive and helped us decide upon the best plan - refinishing the lower level and buffing & coating the uppr level. The team was quick, efficient and professional. Our floors look brand new! First photo os bnefore; second is after.
Joe and his team did a great job refinishing our hardwood floors. He was extremely responsive, and he was able to get the job done given our short timeline (which was even around the Thanksgiving holiday!) Would definitely recommend Hudson Hardwoods to anyone.
Joe and his team did an absolutely incredible job refinishing my old red oak wood floors to more closely match new white oak wood floors in a different part of the house. They were so quick and efficient and so clean! Our house was completely spotless. I am so happy with how my floors turned out.
Joe and his crew are so nice and easy to get a hold of. We had white oak installed in our entire house and it looks fantastic. Joe walked us through the whole process and was honest about the timeline. He even managed to get the wood we ordered in a few week earlier than we were originally quoted. The floors look…
Joe and his team at Hudson Hardwood did a fantastic job restoring the hardwood floors and staircase in my home. I recently purchased the house and decided to tear out some old carpet, with the intention of replacing with new carpet. Hiding under the old carpet were the original hardwood floors - heavily damaged…
Joe is one of the top professional contractors I've worked with. He seemed extremely knowledgeable, honest, and incredibly responsive. His team was efficient - getting the work done in a very challenging timeline and floors look great. Joe assured me it would get done and it did! Highly recommend.
We just had our floors done by Joe at Hudson Hardwood. I would highly recommend Hudson Hardwood to anyone looking to have their hardwood floors done! Hudson did our entire house—installed oak flooring in the kitchen, engineered hardwood in 2 rooms, and sanded, refinished, and stained the original hardwood in the…
Hudson Hardwood did a good job of repairing and refinishing my wood floors. Joe was very responsive before and after the work was done. In particular, he addressed an issue I raised even after I had paid in full. He is all about service.
High quality work and very professional service from Hudson hardwood. Not the cheapest option but high quality, detail oriented, and on schedule. Very happy with Joe and team.
Joe did a fantastic job re-sanding and staining our previously (very) red cherry wood floors (with many scuffs and markings) into beautiful dark brown Jacobean floors. Joe was very prompt in completing the work, keeping us in the loop with updates of the project, and providing us useful advice regarding floor…
Joe was very communicative. Floors look wonderful.
We bought a new house with ugly carpet over linoleum. We didn’t want to live with that and wanted hardwoods ASAP before moving in! Joe Hudson was quick to give ballpark pricing, responsive to come take a look at the place, shared his honest opinions about linoleum (just install over it!), and was the only vendor we…
Joe and his team are top notch professionals. You won't find better for your floors at realistic prices.
Joe has the best communication skills I have ever come across within the past 30 years dealing with contractors. He fit me into his schedule while I was dealing with an air conditioner leak that required almost all of our den floor to be torn out and replaced. He sent 6 men to work on it during the first day and…
We’ve now used Hudson Hardwood Floors for two projects. Several years ago, Joe and his team installed new hardwood floors in our Center City condo. More recently, they refinished the 80-year-old hardwood floors in our Wyndmoor home. We couldn’t be happier. The entire process was great, and the end result is gorgeous!
I contacted several hardwood flooring services and went with Hudson Hardwood because I saw pictures of their work and the owner Joe responded immediately to my initial inquiry and in all subsequent communication. Even though my job was only one bedroom he made me a priority and completed the job on my schedule. The…
This is the second time I have used Hudson Hardwood Floors....because I was so impressed with the efficiency of their work, but more important, the quality of their work...and the second project they did for me was just as superb!
Joe and his team were very responsive, professional and extremely skilled. We refinished a difficult parquet floor in our home which was about 1200 feet of flooring. It looks spectacular!
After a botched staining of my floors by another Philadelphia wood floor "specialist," I was in need to have all of my floors stripped, sanded and refinished. Joe provided an estimate within 48 hours and had staff on site within 24 hours of signing a contract. All I can say is that the finished product was…
Hudson Hardwood Floors just completed refinishing the hardwood floors in our four bedrooms, hallway, and staircase, and the floors look fantastic! The work will definitely increase the resale value of our home. Joe took the time to explain all our options and helped us select the services and floor coatings that…
