We can't recommend Joe and his team highly enough! Joe communicated with us every step of the way, paid attention to every detail, and went above and beyond to repair our historic floors. He really understood and stayed true to our vision, and his work truly transformed our house. If you're considering Joe for your floors, you won't regret it.
Had my kitchen floor refinished and they did a great job. Not only were they very patient and friendly, could not find not an ounce of dust once finished. Plus the floors look great. If your are still deciding on who to use, look no further. Highly recommend them.
Had a great time working with Joe and his team to replace the first floor and stair treads with oak wood and level some areas. His team also refinished the second floor bamboo. His team was quick, extremely communicative, and most importantly did a fantastic job. Hope to work with him on the third floor some time!
Joe and his team did a great job refinishing our hardwood floors. He was extremely responsive, and he was able to get the job done given our short timeline (which was even around the Thanksgiving holiday!) Would definitely recommend Hudson Hardwoods to anyone.
I could not begin to explain how happy we are that we chose Hudson Hardwood to refinish and stain our floors! They turned out beautiful and for a reasonable price point!
Joe was very informative and open about the process and the pricing. He explained my options, his work methods, what material he could use and what to expect when finished. He came back later to show me how to repair scratches and answered all my questions.
Joe Hudson and his team did a great job refreshing our wide plank pine floors, a combination of light sanding, repair, staining, and polyurethane. We really appreciated how they worked to meet our specific needs to refresh the pine floor within our budget. Great group of people to work with!
Highly recommend. Our floors were in bad shape and needed some repairs and refinishing. The Hudson team really worked some magic and the floors came out even better than expected. Very responsive and reasonably priced.
Joe and his team at Hudson Hardwood did a fantastic job restoring the hardwood floors and staircase in my home. I recently purchased the house and decided to tear out some old carpet, with the intention of replacing with new carpet. Hiding under the old carpet were the original hardwood floors - heavily damaged…
We just had our floors done by Joe at Hudson Hardwood. I would highly recommend Hudson Hardwood to anyone looking to have their hardwood floors done! Hudson did our entire house—installed oak flooring in the kitchen, engineered hardwood in 2 rooms, and sanded, refinished, and stained the original hardwood in the…
Awesome job. Very easy to work with and exceptionally patient with the million questions I asked throughout the project. Just overall good people.
Joe did a fantastic job re-sanding and staining our previously (very) red cherry wood floors (with many scuffs and markings) into beautiful dark brown Jacobean floors. Joe was very prompt in completing the work, keeping us in the loop with updates of the project, and providing us useful advice regarding floor…
Joe was very communicative. Floors look wonderful.
Joe and his team are great to deal with. Very communicative and helpful throughout the process. They did great work and my floors look fantastic. Most importantly though, Joe treats your floors like they are his floors. Can't ask for much more than that.
We bought a new house with ugly carpet over linoleum. We didn’t want to live with that and wanted hardwoods ASAP before moving in! Joe Hudson was quick to give ballpark pricing, responsive to come take a look at the place, shared his honest opinions about linoleum (just install over it!), and was the only vendor we…
Joe and his team are top notch professionals. You won't find better for your floors at realistic prices.
Joe and his team did a fantastic job revealing the beauty of the original floors in my house! They were professional and responsive and I am so happy with the finished product.
Joe has the best communication skills I have ever come across within the past 30 years dealing with contractors. He fit me into his schedule while I was dealing with an air conditioner leak that required almost all of our den floor to be torn out and replaced. He sent 6 men to work on it during the first day and…
We’ve now used Hudson Hardwood Floors for two projects. Several years ago, Joe and his team installed new hardwood floors in our Center City condo. More recently, they refinished the 80-year-old hardwood floors in our Wyndmoor home. We couldn’t be happier. The entire process was great, and the end result is gorgeous!
I contacted several hardwood flooring services and went with Hudson Hardwood because I saw pictures of their work and the owner Joe responded immediately to my initial inquiry and in all subsequent communication. Even though my job was only one bedroom he made me a priority and completed the job on my schedule. The…
Joe and his team were very responsive, professional and extremely skilled. We refinished a difficult parquet floor in our home which was about 1200 feet of flooring. It looks spectacular!
After a botched staining of my floors by another Philadelphia wood floor "specialist," I was in need to have all of my floors stripped, sanded and refinished. Joe provided an estimate within 48 hours and had staff on site within 24 hours of signing a contract. All I can say is that the finished product was…
