Always knowledgeable, helpful and fast!
Great experience.
We think they’re honest, pricing beats dealership, appreciate their diagnostic checklists, they don’t suggest unnecessary work.
2026 Update: Still the best indie garage. They work wonders and are extremely thorough. Great folks. Update: After going to IMW for the past 6 years, I only allow them to work on my cars. Michael is the best consultant you could ask for, and really goes the extra mile. People can't believe how well my family's…
I had an oil leak on my 328i and they correctly determined root cause and were able to replace the vacuum pump the same day. I’m definitely satisfied with the experience.
I brought my 2015 Lexus GS350 here due to a really bad misfire in two of the cylinders, and Import Motor Werks is the absolute best. I’ve taken the car to other shops in the past, but have not been able to find a trustworthy and transparent one until now. From the initial contact to picking up my car after it was…
They were able to get my Mini in right away and diagnose and fix the issue(s) quickly. Thanks!
Friendly, cost effective service. Highly recommend!
Awesome Crew! Always come through in a crisis. Thank you Matt, Kim, Jake & Ms. Melody.
Serviced on time and reasonably priced. Especially when compared to Porsche dealer!
IMW took care of my Audi for a couple of years when the warranty expired, I was always happy with the timely service, accurate estimates, and keeping me up to date during the repairs. Today they went above and beyond....I needed to get a copy of an old repair record, and Tammy personally got involved to search…
I recently just moved to the RTP area from NJ. I was looking for a reliable, affordable mechanic for my 2011 Audi. I took my car here for an engine problem that it was having, as well as other maintenance that was needed. The mechanic named Brandon was super helpful and transparent about a fee to run diagnostic…
First off the owner is really nice, the work they do is good on multiple cars I have had them work on. However the reason I am reviewing 3 stars is that their service ended up being MORE expensive than the Mercedes dealer on apple's to apples service and a longer wait to get an appointment. I am just a little…
I have done business with Import Motor Werks for 10 years or more. They have worked on a wide range of vehicles that I have owned (Japanese, Euro, even domestic a couple of times). They have performed a wide range of services from oil change and tires, to timing belt services and engine rebuilds. They have always…
As a first-time customer, I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience with IMW! Not only were they fast to get me an estimate on the work that was needed, but it was delivered in a very tec-forward manner. I received a text with a brief description of my vehicle's issues, but what made it even better was the…
