Although it seemed to take awhile- the end product a new cement patio and a repaved driveway look great ! They did as promised I’m very pleased with their work and highly recommend them The sales man Mark Lafigliola was very helpful always willing to answer questions that would arise Verena Laursen
Great removal and install, but buyer beware of the BS charges, like '$750 landscape restoration' ie a 4 ft of dirt and a few grass seeds ?
Our experience of working with Kaplan especially Brenda was amazing! Their quality of work and communication is top tier! I highly recommend them.
These guys are amazing, professional, and well priced! I used them for seal coating my driveway twice and they did a wonderful job. I highly recommend working with Casey!
Kaplan Paving has been our vendor of choice in our HOA for several years now. I would have to say they have been nothing short of outstanding. Everyone has been extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Becky and Jenny have been the best at taking care of our projects start to finish making them very…
We were impressed with the service and level of communication with Kaplan from the initial estimate to the final step of paving. This was a complete tear-out and replacement of a large driveway. We appreciated that Kaplan handled the applications for two permits.
Arturo and his crew did an amazing job on my driveway. In addition to it being beautiful and everything that I was hoping for, the crew had to work around dog walkers and baby strollers since people were insisting on walking on the sidewalk where they were working. They were patient, polite and professional.
Would have been a 5-star if didn’t get hit with a $2400 up charge for base enhancement…
Kaplan Paving is an outstanding company that stands behind its work. They’re easy to work with and are always straight up and honest about the project scope and expectations.
Kaplan replaced my driveway a couple years ago. I have to say I have been totally satisfied with the follow up service I needed. I have been dealing with Patricia Nevarez in the office and she has been superior in helping me get some problems solved. I tell my friends about Kaplan and Patricia. She has listened and…
Mark was great to work with on the initial quote, very responsive to my questions a few days later and working the scheduler Tricia Nevarez was a pleasure even though I probably called more than most due to a timeline crunch for completion for a party at my house.
Great service from initial quote, to receiving the proposal, then Kaplan's team managing the installation - keeping us up to date and setting expectations. The installation was done by a very experienced team. I loved watching them. So professional and absolutely no follow up needed. No mess to clean up. It looks…
The seal coating of the driveways done with great care. They did an amazing job! Cracks were sealed effectively as well. One driveway was completely replaced and it was done perfect. Reliable. Great work. Extremely satisfied.
Worked with Joe R to have my condo and neighbors attached driveway resurfaced. Fantastic job and price. Very professional, workers showed up on time and did an awesome job. I was so impressed that I worked with Joe R for a new patio/side door exit since mine is outdated and is a dangerous hazard. Joes design…
Crew #3 Led by Luis and Omar were outstanding. Professional, thorough and extremely kind and cleaned up nicely when the driveway was done. Mark was great to work with, listened to our needs, job well done using Kaplan!!!! We will definitely use them again.
I work at Icon Building Group, and we've had the pleasure of working with Kaplan Paving on several projects. I especially want to recognize Brenda Sanchez, who manages our account. She is incredibly responsive, timely, and always willing to help. Brenda consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs…
Jesse and his crew were fantastic. We had a fairly complicated job that included bearing two pipes under the driveway and everything turned out. Great they were on time, polite courteous, and neat. Highly recommend.
I had an excellent experience with Kaplan Paving. Brenda, the scheduling team, and the paving crew all provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. The quality of the work was excellent, and the entire process was hassle-free. I would not hesitate to recommend Kaplan Paving to anyone looking for professional, reliable paving
The asphalt was done well. The striping is beautiful. The people are friendly and helpful, even though I don't like the AI phone answerer.
I work with ICON Building Group and I wanted to mention Brenda Sanchez. She’s our account representative and I wanted to comment on the fact that she is always keeping up to date with the schedule, responding to us in a timely fashion, and always has a great attitude. She has been a pleasure to speak with and work with and I highly recommend their company!
They were very quick and cleaned up after themselves.
We just had our old driveway removed by crew led by Joel. They got here on time and removed driveway is less than 1 hour.perfect job
They did some paving work for a family member that I coordinated. They were honest and stood behind their work. They fixed an extremely minor problem without hesitation. Tovar and Tricia’s customer service was outstanding! Definitely recommend
Jim and his crew did a great job removing old pavement, prepping the surface, and burying the drainage. Everything was explained and all questions answered. The site was left spotless when they were finished. Looking forward to the upcoming paving. Jesse and his crew did a terrific job paving the driveway. He too…
I interviewed three contractors to redo our old paver driveway. Joe R. Impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. He created a great design for us with a combination of asphalt with a paver border. He also recommended that we put in a new stoop which was the right call. Each of the crews were skilled and…
Jim is the man. Very nice guy and knowledgeable about what’s going on.
Recommended by a union working on a McHenry city job near Veteran Square. Called back a week or so later.
Arturo was very professional and respectful of my property. My second driveway done by Kaplan. Awesome!!! Workers and team. Focused on quality.
Jim and his crew did a good job and cleaned up the area. Very polite and explained everything.
Kaplan Paving does very good work at reasonable prices. As you know you get what you pay for, so lowest price by others, is not the way to go........... I feel that working with Kevin Haley our sales rep help makes our complete, from start to finish experience very professional and all inclusive. In my past 30+…
Job was well done at a reasonable price!
From quote to tear out to final 2 layers of asphalt everything was top notch. And no mess afterwards. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure working with Kaplan Paving. Lars, Pawal, and Beckie were professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, the pricing was fair and competitive compared to other bids, and the crew…
Great job done by Kaplan from the salesman, Billy, who worked his butt off for us to all the crews. Professional… polite… thoughtful…and precise in their work. We wouldn’t think of using anyone else
Beckie, the Commercial Accounts Manager, explains the sealcoating process and is always available to answer questions or provide information. Beckie is pleasant to talk to by telephone.
I have been doing business with Lee Greenberg of Kaplan Paving for a long, long time. I have done numerous paving projects with Kaplan as well as using them for snow removal at several properties I manage. What amazes me about Lee is that after every snowfall he's out there checking to make sure the property was…
Horrible company to work with! I've told my business partners to not even use them not even for seal coating. We got our driveway redone by them cause they were local and like to support local companies. Within a year of getting our driveway redone, weeds were coming through the black top and cracks were forming.…
Jim and his Crew did a very good job, his name was Jessie
Decided to give this company a try to seal the blacktop on a commercial parking lot. We had used various local companies in the past with results ranging from good to very thin not so good applications. Kaplan put on a nice thick coat and communication with all their employees in was excellent.
Jim and Arturo and their crews were fantastic. Tear out of old asphalt, grading, and new asphalt installation went without a hitch. “New” driveway looks fabulous. They were quick, courteous, detailed, and left the area like they were never even there. I am extremely happy with Kaplan’s service!
The Kaplan team delivered an exceptional outcome for our project. They were great to work with.
Graham and the team at Kaplan are the best! Graham has a ton of experience im general construction and is a great help working through projects talking about fixes to current problems while also taken potential future issues into consideration. I highly recommend them for any of your paving needs!
Reasonably priced, quick and professional.
Jessie and his team from Kaplan Paving exceeded our expectations in every way. Our project involved excavating and enlarging our driveway, and what could have been a stressful process turned into an experience marked by professionalism, skill, and genuine care for the customer. Jessie communicated clearly at every…
Kaplan replaced my exiting driveway in 2022. On May 30 '25 they resealed it. The workers got tar on the bricks lining the length of the driveway. no satisfaction to my complaints. The company returned to my home and cleaned the affected bricks! Fantastic
Great job done this morning. Jesus and his partner were fantastic.
Competitive prices. Explained exactly was was going to be done. Showed on on schedule, work done was excellent. The area was all cleaned up. Arturo and his crew were awesome
Kaplan is outstanding in service, responsiveness and quality! Their team is excellent! Special recognition to Lars and Trisha! Both my home and commercial paving needs were completed exceptionally! Thank you! Mary A.
The whole process with Kaplan went smoothly from beginning to end. Kaplan took care of the permits, diagram, etc so I didn't have to worry about a thing.
Joe Revelle and team were top notch.
I have to compliment Joe Revelle from Kaplan Paving. He was timely, friendly and professional. I’m sure my driveway will be beautiful when completed!
Melissa was great and kindly made all of our last minute project changes.
Graham Dirsmith was a delight to work with, great communicator. Walked us through each step from start to finish!!!
Kaplan paving is an incredible company. Joe R. was very personable and wonderful to work with. You can tell he is passionate about what he does from the amazing results that came from our project! I look forward to doing more business with Kaplan paving and Joe R and can’t recommend them enough
Made an appointment to come talk with me about project then provided a written estimate. Once I finalized the quote, the project moved quickly. Was kept informed about start date changes due to weather. Very happy with outcome
Edit: After 4 years, we came back to Kaplan and they were extremely professional. The communication about the appointment was very clear and constantly updated. I am very happy to have had Kaplan reseal our driveway We have tried setting up, on multiple occasions, a date to reseal our driveway. We called them…
