Working with Kaplan depends on who you are speaking with. They where going to remove old drive and install a new driveway. We signed the contract November 25 and scheduled the job for spring 2026. Fist the brick trim was done and looked bad. Kaplan came out and fixed it. Then as the summer went on the bricks…
Santiago and his team just removed and replaced my existing driveway and did an excellent job. I would reccomend Kaplan Paving for paving work.
Both the removal and installation teams (Samuel & Santiago) were professional and did a great job.
Kaplan Paving did an amazing job! From start to finish, Casey kept me informed and at ease with the project. He listened to what I wanted, addressed positives and negatives of my vision, and set clear expectations for the process. The work was completed quickly and very neatly. In addition to the repaving of the…
We hired Kaplan to pave my parents' driveway, and I'll be honest, the sales pitch was great. They were professional, the quote was fair, and the crew seemed to know what they were doing. They asked us to leave a Google review almost right away, and my mom did, because at that point everything looked fine. The…

Our experience of working with Kaplan especially Brenda was amazing! Their quality of work and communication is top tier! I highly recommend them.
Salesman, Renso Meucci, explained the process well and was very approachable with my questions. Edgar, Office Manager, was receptive to my calls regarding scheduling! The paving crew was efficient and the job looks perfect.
Kaplan replaced our old driveway and did a perfect job. From beginning to end, everyone I came into contact with at Kaplan was very professional, helpful and friendly. From Mark in Sales, Brenda, Cynthia, Katie in the office to all the great guys that removed the old driveway and installed the new one like Luis…

Kaplan did a great job with great service. A special thank you to Tricia who was an amazing help throughout our process. I highly recommend Kaplan for your next project.
Communicated with Tricia regarding changes that needed to be made prior to prep and paving. Tricia was very patient and went above and beyond to resolve my concerns. If the finished product is any were near as good as Tricia’s customer there will be another 5 star review. Drive is finished and couldn’t be happier.…
Very happy with our new driveway! We live in Deerfield, and our driveway was probably the oldest one in town... We called Kaplan and Tricia oversaw flawlessly the entire process, from start to finish. It is just amazing how a new driveway gives a completely different look to your house. And Kaplan did an excellent job- thank you, guys!
Kaplan Paving has been our vendor of choice in our HOA for several years now. I would have to say they have been nothing short of outstanding. Everyone has been extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Becky and Jenny have been the best at taking care of our projects start to finish making them very…
We were impressed with the service and level of communication with Kaplan from the initial estimate to the final step of paving. This was a complete tear-out and replacement of a large driveway. We appreciated that Kaplan handled the applications for two permits.
Arturo and his crew did an amazing job on my driveway. In addition to it being beautiful and everything that I was hoping for, the crew had to work around dog walkers and baby strollers since people were insisting on walking on the sidewalk where they were working. They were patient, polite and professional.
Santiago and Samuel's crews were very professional and detailed. Very pleased with the results
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Kaplan Paving! I can’t say enough good things about the team at Kaplan Paving! They did an outstanding job today with the excavation and, most importantly, took the time to make sure the proper base was installed and prepared correctly. Their attention to detail and quality of work really…
Thanks Tricia and the Kaplan team for your great customer service and taking care of my damaged new driveway! You all rock!
The men that came out were friendly and professional. Answered any questions. They did an AMAZING job
Everything went famously well with Kaplan Paving. A few months after installation, however, we began noticing some cracking that seemed well beyond what we would consider normal. What really defines a company isn’t how it handles things when everything goes perfectly—it’s how it responds when there’s a problem and…
Our team leader put together Kaplan Paving to repave 6 homes in our neighborhood. The more home that sign up greater the discount Kaplan would of given us. Kaplan was great with informing us through emails every step of the way. On the day our driveways were finally paved the crew from Kaplan Paving Company were…
Mark was great to work with on the initial quote, very responsive to my questions a few days later and working the scheduler Tricia Nevarez was a pleasure even though I probably called more than most due to a timeline crunch for completion for a party at my house.
Patricia Nevarez was especially helpful throughout the entire process, promptly addressing all of our questions and concerns. The Luis’ crew was on time, very friendly, and worked quickly and efficiently.
Billy Dehn came by to provide an estimate and explained everything in detail. He was pleasant, thorough, and professional. When I had a few follow-up questions the next day, he responded immediately. The pricing was very reasonable, and Beckie in the office was also responsive and a pleasure to work with. We just…

I work at Icon Building Group, and we've had the pleasure of working with Kaplan Paving on several projects. I especially want to recognize Brenda Sanchez, who manages our account. She is incredibly responsive, timely, and always willing to help. Brenda consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs…
Had my asphalt driveway paved in late spring last year. Within a few weeks, cracks began appearing along the edges, and more developed by fall. When I reported it, it took weeks if not months of follow up before anyone came out, and when they finally did, I was told I had probably driven on the edges myself, "we all…

I work with ICON Building Group and I wanted to mention Brenda Sanchez. She’s our account representative and I wanted to comment on the fact that she is always keeping up to date with the schedule, responding to us in a timely fashion, and always has a great attitude. She has been a pleasure to speak with and work with and I highly recommend their company!
Jim’s Crew did a phenomenal job this morning of removing my old driveway and preparing for the new drive to be installed. They got the work done quickly & properly with no issues or problems, thank you! Jesse and his team came out yesterday to apply the asphalt and finish the driveway. It turned out beautiful. Thank you again for the fantastic job!
Great service. Jesse and his team did very good job. Highly recommend!

We cannot say enough about Casey Stolzenburg's attention to the details and challenges of our job. His professional and caring handling of our estimates set up and any questions that would come up showed that he knew what he was doing and paid attention to every aspect. A pleasure to work with and someone I would…
Jim and his crew did an excellent job preparing our driveway for the asphalt layer. They were very easy to work with and cleaned up the site perfectly. I highly recommend Kaplan Paving and Jim
Great experience from initial discussions to project completion! There is a reason why Kaplan do so much work in our neighborhood. They truly do perform a great job.
Grade crew. They’ve done a very professional job.
I have worked on two projects with Kaplan, both for small apartment buildings in Mundelein. They have done outstanding work both times. Their prices are reasonable. Remember, this is a 20 year or more investment so cheap is not always good. Keep in mind that there crew that tears out the old driveway is a different…
We first noticed this company through a job they completed in our neighborhood—something about it just looked better than the rest. It turns out they use a higher-grade blacktop material, and it really shows. Tovar and a large crew arrived promptly and on time. They did an excellent job and were in and out in about…

Great job and great communication. Driveway turned out great!

Prep work by Jose G and his team went very well. Cynthia M. In scheduling has been great too. Can’t wait to have paving done to see final project! Final update: Driveway is done we had a minor issue that was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction with the help of Tricia, Sal and the hard work of Arturo and his crew!
From quote to tear out to final 2 layers of asphalt everything was top notch. And no mess afterwards. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
Workers were on time and professional. They did hit my gutter, would have liked to been told about it, and I would’ve appreciated them not cutting with the concrete saw right into my garage. Minor complaints on my end. Work was very well done.
All good. On time and professional
Our service rep., Casey Stolzenburg, was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. He explained everything and answered my questions. Amy Gramza in the office was very nice and friendly on the phone.
I needed a complete new driveway and spoke with many vendors before deciding to work with Casey from Kaplan. He was one of the only people from all the vendors that took The time to come out and meet with me to see the specific details of my project and made me feel confident in his ability to oversee this project…

I did many upgrade to a home in Schaumburg…we used Kaplan Paving for the asphalt driveway the city inspectors gave us a hard time and I had to go back and forth…Patricia Nevarez was the only one to constantly return my phone calls and emails, but most of all go above and beyond and called to city to talk to inspector to get answers to get us passed!

Awesome work start to finish Billy was my contact
Kaplan's pricing was very fair, they did a quick and excellent job, and they were very accommodating as I had to change the date of my job a couple times and still honored the price they had quoted. Billy was professional and very quick to respond to my questions. Everyone at Kaplan was very helpful.

The experience with Kaplan Paving was an A+, from start to finish. You can definitely tell they have done this type of work for awhile.
Jim and Arturo and their crews were fantastic. Tear out of old asphalt, grading, and new asphalt installation went without a hitch. “New” driveway looks fabulous. They were quick, courteous, detailed, and left the area like they were never even there. I am extremely happy with Kaplan’s service!
Holy Cow!!! I recently had my driveway replaced by Kaplan Paving, and I cannot tell you how great it turned out. When we drive our Toyota Supra over the once faulty approach, it now GLIDES smoothly over the pavement! Well done Kaplan! And a special shout out to Billy D from the sales department… he was extraordinary!
I wanted to like Kaplan Paving. This was based off previous knowledge of the business and previous owner. I chose them to install new pavers and driveway. They were tearing out an old driveway and installing a new one to look similar to old one. I was hugely disappointed with the entire process, quality of work and…
Agustin and his crew arrived on time, took a close look around and discussed with me any questions or concerns that I may have about the work that they were about to do which was removing and preparing the driveway for the next crew that was going to lay down the asphalt. The asphalt driveway is phenomenally better than it was! I have a smile on my face every time I drive into my garage. Arturo and his crew were kind and efficient. Meredith was also helpful with email information.

Very happy with my new driveway .
In 2022 Kaplan Paving rebuilt our patio. Last year they rebuilt our front walk and repaved a failing driveway. That's why we came back to them…

THEY DID A GREAT JOB...
Excellent job on the driveway. The team was very professional and everything looks great.
We had our driveway done in 2022. The pictures show the job that Kaplan’s supervisors deemed acceptable. $$$$ and now we, the homeowners have to deal with a frozen pond at our front stoop and the worry of guests or delivery drivers slipping on ice and getting hurt. Kaplan’s warrant department deemed it not necessary to redo the work.
Kaplan Did a great job on my driveway. Billy and Becky are great to work with. They kept us up to date on what was going on and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend they company. Oscar and the prep team are great. They kept me informed on project and while working on driveway team was polite and working area was kept clean.
If you know Ingleside, then you know parking is very limited. We bought our home in 2016 and I’ve been wanting to rebuild/expand the driveway ever since. Today my dream driveway came to be!! Did a fantastic job, very professional! Crew were respectful, hardworking individuals; knew what they were doing and did it! Kaplan took care of everything from start to finish explaining what was going to happen, when and how it would happen and what to expect.
So happy I went with Kaplan Paving for my driveway. Beckie Sanchez and Billy Dehn were both professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They were able to answer all my questions which put me at ease, especially with the extension and permit. I definitely will refer Kaplan Paving to my friends and family.
At a time when companies forget the customer after a sale. Patricia Nevarez and her crew stepped up to solve a problem that manifested itself a year later. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kaplan Paving exceeded all expectations! Ronak Baxi and his team were professional, efficient, and skilled. They transformed our driveway flawlessly, using top-quality materials. Excellent communication throughout the project. Highly recommend their outstanding services!
Wish I could give a less than 1 star. Do yourself a favor and find another company. They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I paid around $3,500 less than 3 years ago to have my asphalt driveway removed and replaced. I had multiple huge cracks in the middle of my driveway right away and the…
Kaplan was so professional and responsive from the beginning. The job they performed was excellent and .Ronak was awesome. I would highly recommend Kaplan.
Kaplan is fairly priced. Work completed as promised. Beckie and Cesar / Scheduling stayed in contact through the whole process. Cesar/Scheduling even followed up a few days after driveway replacement was complete. To make sure we were happy and that job was properly completed. So far so good!
